Getting excited about the cruise! It would be fun to think of gifts for the FE.
It looks like we have a lot of interest in the FE... I would like to try it out, but it would be a first for us. Who would the organizer be? :confused3

The organizer will be the first person to come forward and accept the challenge ( :) )- not that there is really a challenge as you would just be maintaining a list of those participating - stateroom # and number of those participating in the stateroom (ages, gender, allergies, favorite characters, etc. are all optional).

Basically, there are no right or wrong ways to do it - it just takes someone to do it! :teeth:

Just booked our cruise this evening - this is all of our first on the DCL. We would love to participate in the FE. I would offer to organize it but with it being my first time cruising with Disney - I would hate to disappoint lol!

Cruising in my group will be me (Amy) Daughter (Emma 7), Son (Granstin 2), sister (Alaina), Nephew (Hayden 8), Mother (Donna), father (Roy) and grandfather (pawpaw) (Hugh lee, 92!)

Can't wait to join you all in the Bahamas (:
 
hi - we just confirmed this cruise - we couldn't wait until december to get back on the ship so we booked it over the weekend - dh, dd (25), ds (10), and myself - taking the cruise & then spending the rest of the week visiting out son who's on the CP - can't wait to meet a new group of disney cruisers

I Guess I can step up if needed. According to WebMasterDoc, I will need to put together a list of everyone looking to participate. So here it goes…

Please PM me the following information so I can start putting our list together:

1. Cabin Number(s) (Please Include Deck Number for convenience)

2. Number of people in each cabin participating:

- Adults (Names*, Gender & Fav. Disney Character, as well as any Allergies)

- Children (Names*, Gender, Age, & Fav. Disney Character, as well as any Allergies)
*I will only share this information by PM, and WITH YOUR PERMISSION... (In case someone wishes to personalize a gift).

3. Include how many days (1-4) You wish to participate. If we have enough interest, everyone should be able to receive a FE gift at least once a day!

Sorry, it used to be call a "Private Message" or "PM" for short... Now they call it a "conversation". If you have just joined the DisBoards and only have a few posts, you will not be able to use the "Conversation" system until you reach 10 posts. If you go to the DIS Technical Support/Test board where you can quickly and easily post some one word (or one letter) posts to get your count up to 10. Once you have 10 posts, you will be able to send a "Conversation" to me with the necessary info.. There will be a link at the upper right on every page to your "Inbox" and you can click on any username and a link to "Start a conversation" will be available. In addition, you will then be able to upload images and have links in your signature like mine. Please let me know if you still have any questions or issues! - RGD.
 
We just booked this cruise today for my DD High School graduation. There will be 5 of us on this cruise. Me, DH, DD(18), DS(16) and DS(6).
I'm actually going on the dream in 9 days for spring break but the idea of a double dip had me booking again.
If you need help with the FE, I've organized them before. I have an excel template that works well with getting all the info needed.
We def want in on the FE exchange. My DS(6) Loves, loves, loves it, probably more than the cruise itself..lol
 
We have never done a cruse before and I was reading about fish extender. I was just wondering how it works. I will not be going but my mom and daughter (7) are.

It's really pretty simple, and fun! You might wish to purchase (or make) your "fish extender". They can be found all over the internet for different ideas. As far as signing up with us....

You would then deliver them to the cabin(s) you have been given. Pretty simple, and FUN!

This sounds great! Thanks for volunteering and explaining the process of limited cabins. I was a little concerned about being overwhelmed but this definitely sounds doable!
