Ex-peep outcast here... Cheri - the Wonder repo is January 2011. It's doing the Mex. Riviera in spring & AK in summer.... But I think Gert was saying she could meet up with ya'll at WDW - after your Dream cruise!!

Decsions Decisions!!! WWYD (pretend you are poor like me)!!??

DCL re-released some of the 2011 Med cruises today. We orig. booked a 10 nighter on Aug 10 then they suspended bookings. SueEllen suggested we pick an alternate date so we backed it up to July 20 for a few hundred more. Same SPH 5020 room tho so still a good price. August really is a better month for us to vacation tho. OK, so TODAY (finally) DCL re-released some of the Meds. Changing some of them from 10/11 night to 7 nighters. They still depart out of Barcelona and will have 5 ports & 1 sea day rather than 7 ports & 2 sea days. They're dropping Tunisia, Malta & Corsica & adding Palma, Mallorca (island off of Spain) and are keeping the port in France & the 3 ports in Italy. Here's the big part! The pricing is really good still. If we kept the same SPH cabin, after the rebooking discount I think we'd be looking at only about $3,850 TOTAL for ALL OF US for the 7 nights!! Holy Crap ya'll!!! We paid like $3,200 or something for that crazy 3 nighter last year!! This would only be like $700 more!! I keep re-checking my math...but that's a seriously decent price IMO. Sigh. But I really wanted to be on the ship for 10 nights.....I feel so torn!!

So...better date, less money (like $2,000 less) for 3 less nights and 2 less ports. We really wanted to add some time in Barcelona and Paris too pre & post cruise so this would really make it more affordable to do that. Oh My!! What to do??? And Sue Ellen is on the Magic now!! I also priced going up to a balcony cabin since the price would be lower....still $968 less than the 10 nighter to go from a Cat 10A to a 5C!!!

well OK, so for right now I am a lurker..but seeing as how my favorite TA (and friend!!) has booked a last minute March cruise for my family, I am hoping to rebook onboard and join you in July!!
I wonder who that could be..Sue Ellen??

And if my Dd and precious granddaughter are back in the states, maybe they can come too.
