Thanks, Tracy!
Yes, yesterday was a crazy day, but not a bad day, all in all.
It was very cold and rainy so I had to take DS16 to work. Dropped him, went and did 45 min of Mall Walking before it opened. WHAT and EXPERIENCE!!! I entered and made it about 4 stores past the food court when I was stopped by a group of 'blue hairs' who asked me what I thought I was doing. 'Walking the mall for exercise, just like you!' I was promptly and loudly told that I 'did NOT belong' and I was 'NOT one of 'our' SET' and that I was not welcome and should leave. I was happy to point out that it is a public venue, open to anyone who wanted to use it to walk in the mornings. Security soon showed up and made the 'blue hairs' leave me alone! It was TOO FUNNY!!!!
So, after that I shopped for about an hour, put DD some pants on hold. Ran to the fabric store and spent WAY too much on bonded denim/fleece to make covers for the dog cages for winter, make them cage liners and pajamas (YES, they wear pjs!)
Off to pick DS16 up and drop him at gymnastics, get gas (found a station near the gym at $2.64, and who can resist gas that cheap!!

)
Home to throw veggie chili in the pot, potty the dogs and take DD to the mall - just to run in to Foley's - yeah, right!! My quick trip turned into 2.5 hours. But I did find her 1 pair of pants for school, 4 ls shirts and 2 sweaters that she will actually wear. On the fun side we each got a pair of windpants & matching tops (hers navy/lime, mine orange/grey) Ran to WM to get more veggie meat for the chili. Made it home at 6:15, DH & DS16 walked in at 6:45. That was close!!
Then I did ebay and had to pin up DD's choir dress for formal pics today. She's in the back so I didn't have to hem it, that will be this weekend.
So, this morning. Breakfast 3 mini scones - 4 pts.
Did WATP 4 mi and my foot/ankle is KILLING me! DNiece just called from FL and they admitted her sister (pregnant one) to the hospital. Pre preg she had never weighed over 105 lbs and her arms/legs have always looked like toothpicks (this is the one who was offered the job as Barbie at DW and turned it down). Her legs are now much bigger than her mom's and on her DR visit Wed her BP was up a lot (for her - we'd consider it almost normal, but it was up over 40 pts) and there was protein in her urine. So she went back today and DR is sending her in. Apparently they will induce tomorrow. Baby is due 10/17, so not too bad. Please keep them both in prayers. They say Kylie is already about 6 lbs so all should be fine.
Today is the beginning of Balloon fiesta. If you want to see some cool pics/info the website is
www.aibf.org . This morning was the 'school' launch w/ balloons going off simultaneously from EVERY school - public /private in ABQ and Rio Rancho. Tomorrow is the first 'mass ascension'. I think it will be about 800 balloons. Balloon Fiesta park is directly across the street from DH work, so we get passes to park in their lot and stand at the bridge and watch w/o going down into the 'bowl' the park sits in and paying. DD will likely talk me into going next Fri at about 4:30 a.m. for Special Shapes day. I'll try to post some links to some of our pics. Usually I can see/count about 400 from my house on any given day. It is really something to see.
So, today is Ebay, start the laundry and tonight is a HS Fencing tournament. This weekend is more of the same. My goal is to get enough done so that when DD is off school next F & M we can change out clothes, I can get sewing done for dogs and we can chill a bit. Time will tell.
Have a great weekend, all!! REDS..... GO EXERCISE!!!!!
