Julia on HBO Max

The first three episodes of Julia debuted today. I watched them and really loved the show.
There will be additional episodes dropping once a week for a total of 8.
Anyone else watching?

We have a long flight for our upcoming April break. I plan on saving whatever episodes are out for the flight.

I just watched the first 2 episodes and LOVED IT !! Sarah Lancashire is magnificent as Julia Child. I have such fond memories of watching The French Chef on WGBH with my mom in the 60’s. I was just a little kid, but still loved watching that show.

It‘s also great fun seeing all of the Boston landmarks. The scene from the Jordan Marsh store cracked me up. Department stores at that time really did have sales people on the floor that were sharply dressed and very helpful !!

I watched 3 episodes and I’m so disappointed- to just learn that the rest of the series is dropping an episode weekly and not at once. Loved it.
