I know this is a dumb question, but how can they turn down a coupon that was originally on their site? We don't drink it, but i sent the original JJ ink to a friend. And it was from the juicyjuice.com site.

Not sure but when I see the word criminal that will automatically stop me in my tracks. I've used a few of these but no more. I'm sure this sign is posted for the grocery stores. I don't want to chance it.

OK, I just got a call from Nestle. I was told that the coupon is now considered fraudulent. The coupon was meant for teachers, and was put out in 2005. Many sites copied it and saved the pdf file without permission. They have someone working on that, and trying to chase it down now. They have told eBay to not allow these to be resold, and are in the process of telling stores and markets to not accept the coupon. He reiterated it is a fraudulent coupon. I asked what happens to those that continue to use it, and his answer was, the coupon was not meant to be still out, it's been removed (he was reading from something) and it is considered fradulent.

I have the coupon off the original e-mail. I'll use that one since it's my original. I wonder how they are going to clear this mess up.

ITA

I'm going to continue to use my coupon until my local store says otherwise. And I highly doubt they would criminally charge me if I did try to use it. They would just say they couldn't take the coupon.........

That's probably the worse that could happen, they'll refuse the coupon.. I don't think they'd want negative publicity of laying criminal charges against someone who was trying to use a coupon posted on their own site :lmao:

It was just a poorly run promotion.. they shouldn't have made a coupon with such a high discount available so freely...

I wondered if it was a real coupon. I took them to the store today and purchased 2 JJ items. My coupons scanned just fine. Just like the rest of my coupons scanned.

I think the original coupon was authentic but I have seen others who have take the coupon and made a PDF containing 6 coupons on ONE PAGE. Those coupons are frauds because they are not in the original form. I was hoping to use the coupon but since the original was pulled and I don't have the original PDF I won't be using it.

I used my one coupon today also and it scanned fine

If I had read this thread before I went shopping I would have tossed the coupon

Ok, let me understand this situation: Nestle/Juicy Juice put a brochure together for teachers that included a coupon for free product. They offered the brochure, with coupon, on their site and the public at large found it. Now that the public has the coupon and is using it, Nestle is claiming the coupon is a fraud? Is that the picture? Or am I missing something? :confused3

pretty much. Only you can add that they are also threatening have any SAHM with her two toddlers in tow caught using one at the Jewel tomorrow arrested. :lmao:

Shades of Starbucks. Corporate Moronacy.

Nope, I think you have the picture. I'm not sure how this can be fraud (unless someone had "made" up the coupon..but they didn't, it's a nestle coupon). Can they be so stupid to not realize once they put something on the internet, that does not say teacher ID needed to use it, well, that it wouldn't be used?
They did say they will be sending out a notice to stores saying it will no longer be honored, but I'm not really sure how that would work. I think they are trying like mad to get the PDF file down..but once it's in cache..good luck to them.
I talked to someone a bit ago that works in the office of a pretty large market, and they really don't know what nestle will do, other than stop shipping the JJ's until the coupon expires. She said that they will continue to honor them to the letter of the coupon, as long as they have the product.

I had the pdf coupon and I used one yesterday, it scanned fine. I forgot to bring one today.

Oh My... I just got home from the grocery store and I just used 2 of these Juicy Juice coupons. I feel bad now. They did not scan but not too many coupons will scan at this particular grocery store. The cashier just took off the $2.31 for each coupon. I don't see how they cannot not accept them because I have the actual e-mail I received from Nestle with the parent-teacher info on it and the free cpn in it . I have 2 e-mail addresses, this the reason I received 2 coupons. Never crossed my mind to scan them and print more! Hopefully my store will get their money back from them. Lisa in Indiana

People are selling juice coupons on eBay:confused3:rotfl2: ?

I just called my store and asked them about the coupons I used earlier and they said they are fine... The Grocery manager at our cahin store said that "Nestle is a big company and they would not want to make their customers made by not accepting them or questioning their customers about where the coupons came from." I think they did not realize how fast the link on their web site would get around and now are trying to back paddle. I don't feel too bad about it now. Lisa

I guess they were. I didn't look. Although it says right on it that it can't be sold, so I wouldn't think they could have anyway. It also says it can't be transferred, whatever that means.

Oh, I just went and looked.and yessiree..they are being sold on eBay LOL! Oh, interesting. If you go to completed auctions, it appears a lot were ended early.
