I would like to start my day with a juicing/detox/cleanse type of drink. I only have a blender at this time. I need to lose weight and will be starting this slowly. I plan on adjusting my meals to include many more veggies and adding fruit also. I am looking for recipes but don't seem to have everything they ask for. Here is a list of what I do have. Anyone have any great combinations and can you tell me if you use it to detox, cleanse, or just to Juice. Thanks.

Veggies:

Spinach
Broccoli
Romaine Lettuce
Peppers - all colors
Snap Peas
Carrots

Fruits:

Bananas
Apples
Pineapple
Lemons

I do not process celery so that is one that many recipes ask for but I won't use. I made Kale chips yesterday so all my Kale is dehydrated so I guess that is out and gosh so many recipes call for it.

We have yogurt in the house and 1 percent cows milk. I don't drink much milk and try to stay away, but yogurt is good.

I also have natural peanut butter and some seeds like sunflower etc.

I really would like to start easy and work myself into this. I would really like to have a green drink and then one with maybe an orange or purple.

Thanks for any recipes you can give me and any additional information to go with the recipe to help.

(forgot to mention I do have canned fruit if that would be an option but I really am trying to use the fresh)
All the above is fresh. I have one container of chocolate coconut water, some frozen blueberries and strawberries.

Forget the idea of a detox/cleanse drink. They don't do anything. Cleanses are a joke. No one that promotes them can answer just what "toxins" are being removed.

Now, a juice drink or smoothie would make a great morning drink. I suggest smoothies because they will contain more fiber then the juice. They are a great and quick way to get some nutrients (macro and micro).

Some of my favorite ingredients to use are:

Tart cherry juice
Plain or vanilla yogurt (prefer greek)
Frozen fruit (helps keep the smoothie thicker) including bananas, grapes, peaches, mango, and pineapple
Other fruit especially apples, pears, and oranges
Spinach and Kale (I swear you can not taste it)
Almond or regular milk
Protein Powder
Peanut Butter

One of my favs was plain greek yogurt, banana, peanut butter, chocolate protein powder, and vanilla almond milk (or regular milk). Great for after a workout!

Thanks, I don't really want to cleanse, that is why I asked for what the recipe was. I need to add veggies into my diet and I need to lose weight.

My problem is that I really don't eat enough. I have a hard time getting in 1200 calories unless I eat crud foods. I also am starting a new "movement schedule".

I know that some drinks will work for people with medical problems also. Like spinach is good for my pains in my joints. Pineapple is good for digestion. I am doing my research, but to be honest, finding a recipe with what I have in the house is where I am finding it tough.

I think it is a good amount to start with. We no longer have a car so I have to walk to get new veggies and it the weather is really bad and makes me hurt more. I have been walking and doing very easy yoga inside the house until and "IF" we ever get a spring/summer.

I don't have the protein powder but I do have a chocolate coconut water. I am going to freeze the banana, use the coconut water, some peanut butter and a little extra cocoa powder. (and yes will put some spinach in there too) Sounds good and have a protein boost which will be good.
