Jude has Passed Away.

I'm so sorry Dawn. Thankfully Jude isn't suffering anymore. I wish there was something I could say to help you feel better, but I know there isn't. I'll be thinking of you and your family, and keep you all in my prayers.:sad1:

Dawn,

I'm so very sorry for your loss. We went through almost exactly this same situation years ago, with our gorgeous German Shepard, who had become very disabled with degenerative spinal myelopathy. In the end, we were also able to have her vet come to the house to put her to sleep. I was so comforted by the knowledge that in the end, our beloved pet wasn't afraid, and was in our arms. We also had our home on the market, (and I have my current house on the market now), so I know how much stress you've been under! Only time will soften the pain of your loss, but please be comforted by the memories you have, and of the fact that you have been a fantastic and devoted companion for Jude!

I also believe that we're reunited with our loved ones, (human and non!) when we leave this earth. ((Hugs!!!))

I'm sorry for your family's loss. I followed all of your posts and know Jude was dearly loved.

I am so sorry for your loss:hug:. It's amazing how our furry friends become such a treasured part of our family.

I'm so sorry for your loss Dawn. Jude was such a beautiful dog and I can tell from your posts he was very much loved by your family.

 So sorry to hear about Jude. He is now with my german shepherd Bambi waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. We had to have her put to sleep 2 years ago and it was a very difficult decision.

I am so sorry for your loss, Dawn. I know how much Jude meant to you.

I'm so sorry. It's so hard to lose a beloved member of the family. My heart goes out to you. Our 12 year old golden retriever is having very serious health issues right now and I'm afraid we will have to put him down in the next few days.

 to you.

Oh, I am so sad for you and your family... :( We do not have dogs but we have cats and have (sadly) said goodbye to several of them and it is never easy. I am sure Jude is now happily running around the dog park in dog Heaven (which would be cat hell..;) ) and enjoying being healthy again.

Jill

It seemed in the last week that we would address one issue with Jude; his appetite, and then have a re-emergence of another issue; his ability to empty his bladder. Friday he felt pretty good in the afternoon, wagging his tail, eating, so we went to get him some more dog food and treats. When he saw where he was, he perked up and couldn't wait to get inside. He liked shopping. I thought that he had already emptied his bladder and he hadn't been incontinent before, but just riding in the car, getting out, etc must have loosened a blood clot. We no sooner got about 30 ft inside of the store when he had a huge "accident". It was so bad that a couple of people thought that he had been seriously cut. I asked one of the staff for paper towels so I could clean it up. He, and another young man only had concern for Jude. They would not permit me to even help clean it up, asked if there was anything else they could do to help, comforted Jude and they couldn't have been nicer. They turned what was an extremely difficult and unexpected situation, into a tolerable one. Jude actually felt better, looked at toys and treats and had a good evening, until 3:30 am Saturday morning. Today I called that store and told them how much their kindness meant to me and how very much I appreciated their patience and understanding. I told them that Jude had passed on and that they had made an absolutely miserable week a little bit better.

I'm so sorry. :sad1: Jude was obviously a very loved dog.

OMG I have tears in my eyes. I don't know what to say except to join my heartfelt condolences with all those here, and I hope you feel like sharing your memories of Jude with us.
