Juan says "BAAAA!" - 12/24 - Our last few Disney hours. COMPLETE

It's crazy...my computer is running slow for some reason so when I scrolled up over Henry's pics at the aquarium it actually looks like he's moving...okay, I know==random thought.

1 country! hey, great attitude about it though! plus, an excuse to go back. Oh, wait, you are.:thumbsup2

Sorry about Sunshine Seasons. It's one of my favorite CS restaurants. Hopefully an off day. That dessert looks fantastic. I'm starving. It's 130pm and no lunch yet.

I'm bouncing all over the place right now. Sorry....need food...Great triple update today. Thanks!

Awe. Nice update.

I never really had the time to see the new Nemo ride. And turtle talk with Crush always has huge lines when I'm there. And since I don't have a kid with me, I don't really justify the wait.

Maybe I'll make time this trip?

This guy WILL be coming home with me from F&G in May!!! I just showed your picture to my boys and they laughed and declared him "awesome!"

sorry you only got to 1 country :guilty: Just wait until Henry is old enough for the Kid Stops! That little passport book was one of the best ways to get our boys into exploring the pavillions because they are not usually in the most obvious spot.

I took pics on Nemo and the "dut-dut" ride, too! I even took the same one of the 3 Cabelleros!

Next time try the rotisserie chicken at Sunshine Seasons. It won't disappoint!

I have that Mexico Donald. He's a cutie!

Henry running around on the ledge is just the tip of the iceberg of what you have to look forward to as the mother of a son. Boys get great thrills in making their mothers have mini heart attacks quite frequently. ;)

I had to go through 15 pages to get here. That'll teach me.

Hi Brook!

I love this report. The pictures of Henry with all his funny and happy expressions bring a smile to my face every time. His new hair was too cute!

Hey, can you take it easy for the next week? I'm leaving on Sunday. :rotfl2:

I'll just have to catch up again!

I'm with MeMom, the rostierre chicken is DELISH at Sunshine Seasons, you won't be disappointed one bite!!popcorn::

One country....it's tough with little ones to keep them entertained by it...the Kidcot saved us last year but the boys were that much older and Cole was just along for the ride then at 17 mos. Ethan and Lucas were 6&4 so it was doable then. Be patient, your time will come!! :)

Looking forward to seeing if Henry ever napped...I'm guessing he didn't?!:confused3

I have to admit that I am an overprotective mommy, too, Brook, and my kids are ten and twelve. :lmao:

That strawberry shortcake is amazing -- it is the only thing I have ever tried at Sunshine Seasons, but I loved each and every bite!

Why, oh why, must those kids whack that poor Donald pinata??? :rotfl:

I have to admit that I am an overprotective mommy, too, Brook, and my kids are ten and twelve. :lmao:

Mine are 21 and almost 24 and I'm still overprotective (there was a shooting in Downtown Dubuque today where "my baby" goes to school and as soon as I heard about it I called him to see where he was). Thankfully, he was at wrestling practice. I don't think it matters how old they get...we'll always be "overprotective."

.
I like your idea of October 2011! I hope they do a big celebration. October is SUCH a nice time to be there too. Hmmm....:scratchin

Yep, I am coming to Chicago! And I LOVE your idea of the Brookfield Zoo! I haven't been there since I was probably 14 or something! Is the double decker carousel still there? I was always fascinated with that when I was a kid. I've never been to St. Louis, so as the time gets closer, I may be calling on you for assistance in planning. :goodvibes And as the time gets closer I'll let you in on details so we could meet up!! I would love that!

Yes it is! Food and Wine and the Big 4-0! I think they will have to do something HUGE!

Hmmmm...I don't remember them having a double decker carousel, but Six Flags Great America in Gurnee still has a double decker carousel. Maybe the zoo use to:confused3, but now they have a cool carousel that has lots of different animals on it. You can even ride a Preying Mantis! That would be awesome if you went to the zoo together next summer! I hope it works out!! I definitley will be here to help with St. Louis, although I haven't been there a whole heck of alot, but their zoo/museum campus is really awesome!
It is called Forest Park and it is one of the largest city parks in the U.S. even bigger than Central Park.

Love the new update! Aaron loves Nemo too! And we love the starfish! Have you ever been on Nemo the ride when your clam stops during the EAC part?!?! That really plays tricks on you!! I love Turtle Talk too! What a great show! Kids ask the cutest questions.

Love the update, Brook. I LOVE Nemo too...I just think it is really cute. The pics of Henry trying on the hats are great.

It really is a cute ride, it makes me smile and laugh every time. I love those aquariums at the end of it too.

I'm one of those that finds the Donald Duck pinata a little distrubing LOL!!!!

Another wonderful update Brook!! So glad Henry enjoyed Nemo and I can't wait to see what his reaction is coming up soon!!!!

OOOH...that Strawberry shortcake looks amazing...I definitely should try that sometime!!!! LOVE IT!!!

Henry is just such a handsome guy...I really enjoy your pictures and tales of your adventures!!

Can't wait for more...so hurry LOL!!! :rotfl2:

I hope the line isn't unbearable during our week coming up, we've never waited more then 5-10 minutes for Nemo in the past. At least is a pretty quick loading right so the line moves! :goodvibes

You gotta try that strawberry shortcake, it just melts in your mouth, it's soooooooo good.

I am hoping to squeeze in another update TONIGHT! :thumbsup2

Ah, I love your random post. Sugar lows at their finest. ;) I hope you were able to get something to eat soon after this... are you still working?

I would do Sunshine Seasons again, it gets too many great reviews so I know it was just what we happened to order/an off day. Plus, that dessert...

I most covet Henry's lunch with your dessert :lmao:

:rotfl2: Now that you say that, it jogged my memory that Joe finished off Henry's Mac & Cheese (as he always does!).

Awe. Nice update.

Maybe I'll make time this trip?

Turtle Talk is really fun! It's a cute show, similar to Monsters Inc at MK - but the kids do the talking to Crush. Sometimes he talks to an adult or two as well (usually the "parental units" of one of the children). The theater is small, but still sits quite a few, so if you just wait for one show, chances are you will get in. Try it if you can, I think you'll enjoy it!

:dance3: that's so great that your boys like him too!! I love that you are making your souvie list now. :goodvibes I cannot recall the price tag on him...I want to say $18.95 for some reason. Perhaps he will come home with me in December and then I'll know for sure...;)

After Mexico we didn't really have plans to NOT go back to the WS, it just didn't happen (You'll see why soon, also the reason I didn't get corn dog nuggets at MK...) - so it wasn't a bummer. Neither of us even realized it until later that night! When we did realize it we were slightly bummed, but knew we'd be back soon. I really do look forward to Henry doing the Kidcot stations and the passport book though, I think it will be a lot of fun!

I took pics on Nemo and the "dut-dut" ride, too! I even took the same one of the 3 Cabelleros!

I try and I try to get decent pics on the Nemo ride, but they always turn out blurry. I need to play with the settings on my camera to try and perfect them!

Next time try the rotisserie chicken at Sunshine Seasons. It won't disappoint!

I have that Mexico Donald. He's a cutie!

Henry running around on the ledge is just the tip of the iceberg of what you have to look forward to as the mother of a son. Boys get great thrills in making their mothers have mini heart attacks quite frequently. ;)

Ah, ha! Now I recall that chicken (and also the pork chop perhaps?) getting rave reviews at Sunshine Seasons! Note taken! ::yes::

I like that Mexico Donald too, very cute! If Henry didn't already have a Dut Dut, I would get him that one. December he'll be getting Goofy.

While I was typing the update about him running on that ledge I was thinking, "I bet this is just a taste of things to come..." :rotfl: And it doesn't stop, does it? Like Drew with his broken collar bone?! :faint:

Hey, can you take it easy for the next week? I'm leaving on Sunday. :rotfl2:

I'll just have to catch up again!

:rotfl: I get way behind on reports too - sometimes 20 pages or more!

We'll see how next week lays...I hope to update EVERY DAY, but chances of me sticking to that.... I need to get this baby done before December 23!

Have a VERY magical trip!!! Be sure to take lots of pics to share with us when you get back!

I'm with MeMom, the rostierre chicken is DELISH at Sunshine Seasons, you won't be disappointed one bite!!popcorn::

Oooh, a second on the chicken. We'll have to go for it!

So far Henry has done really well in the WS. One trip he literally slept the ENTIRE time we were in it. Other times we just let him get out and run around a bit every couple countries. This trip we were just cruising along, doing whatever - we didn't plan to not go back to the WS, but, we didn't make it due to time constraints...you'll see why coming soon! :goodvibes

:rotfl:

I don't think that overprotective Mommy thing ever goes away...I'm 30 and my Mom still worries about me! :goodvibes It's sweet though, GET IT now that I have my own.

I loved that strawberry shortcake too...so, very, very good. I would make a specific trip to The Land just for it I think!

The Donald pinata thing doesn't make much sense to me...nor does the roasted duck! :scared: Poor Donald!

Oh goodness! SO GLAD he's okay! How scary!!! I agree though, we'll always be overprotective. And it's a good thing I think. :thumbsup2

There we go posting at the same time again. :rotfl:

I would love for them to do something huge, it would be so much fun to have a World Wide Celebration!!! :yay:

Ah the double decker...I'm getting it confused with Six Flags. As soon I read that I went DUH! :goodvibes Glad to hear Six Flags does still! I loved that thing!

The one at the zoo sounds really cool! I would love to meet up too - our kids would have a blast together as well I'm sure!

Forest Park sounds amazing! I'm going to have to jot that down, it sounds like something we'd all really enjoy.

Oh man! To stop during the EAC part!!! My mind would go bonkers! :rotfl2: I would be cross eyed by the time we got out of there!

Great update :) I am glad he loves Nemo, bet the ride will be even better for him on your next trip :)

Love the pics of Mexico and the ride. Can't believe poor Donald has ended up as a pinata!

That strawberry shortcake is wonderful, isn't it?? :goodvibes I am thinking we might give Sunshine Seasons a pass this time - nodnol and I really agreed about wanting to eat outside as much as possible (hoping for brilliant sunshine of course! :goodvibes) and the atmosphere at Sunshine is not really the greatest.

Even if you did only manage only one WS country it sounds like you still had a lot of fun there! :thumbsup2 Loved the pics of Henry with the tiny hats! Can it be that he thinks of himself as so much smaller than you that of course he needs a tiny hat as compared to his parents' hat size? I thought that was very sweet that he kept trying them on! :goodvibes

Disney Cruise Line show on the Travel Channel NOW!

:yay:

Have you done a Cruise yet?
If you think WDW is addicting-don't do a cruise it will become your next obsession.

We love the Nemo ride and me and my dh can spend an hour in the aquarium.
I read you thought the gnome was around $18.99,
but what shop is it in.

Those pictures of Henry laughing in front of the aquariums are priceless. He looks like he is having so much fun! Also love the ones of him in the sombreros- too cute:)

Yes, and the pork chops, although now that I've tasted a Kona pork chop, that one is not quite as memorable. Still good, though. We've never not had good chicken there.

You don't want me to start listing injuries. It would frighten you away from ever trying to have another child on the chance that it, too, would be a boy.

Let's just say a lot of doctors know us on a personal basis. When your Christmas to-do list reads
Dec. 24 - ortho doctor for cast removal
at the top, well...

Somewhere among my thousands of pictures, there is one of Trent with a broken wrist cast and a broken foot cast at the same time from two different high school games as the seasons overlapped (one from basketball and one from soccer). I have seen more of the insides of both boys bodies enough to have a minor degree as some kind of physician, I'm quite sure. There are some interesting  things inside there. :rotfl:

Call me here pretty soon when you are on your way to the hospital with Henry to get stitches above his eye because he was jumping off the bed/porch/barn/rooftop. :rotfl: I will come and sit with you. ;)
