JTA strategy non-EMH day?

We would love for our son to be able to experience JTA but the last two times we went to WDW we couldn't get a spot. Is there a strategy to getting him in?

The best strategy is to be at the gate about 30 min before park open and head straight there as soon as you are let in.

Early, early, early. If the park opens at 9:00, you can plan on it opening early at 8:50, which means be there by about 8:15 or 8:20. We did it in June, and it was so busy, they ran two classes at once - they did one group of kids on the stage fighting Darth Vader and another one the ground fighting Darth Maul.
