JTA - sign-up after finish 1st show?

Going this Monday to DHS! I am sure my boys are going to ask to do JTA again. We are planning to do a full day at DHS because of all the shows and fantasmic.

I would want an early time slot for JTA, but what are the chances or process for signing up for an evening slot? Could they do an early show if we are lucky to get one and then see if they have any later slots?

If openings are available, your kids can sign up for a 2nd show. If evening shows are filled, they can ask to be put on the waitlist. Many families may leave early due to weather and slots may be available to fill from the waitlist.

How does the wait list work? Do they text you if a spot opens or do you have to keep going back to check?

You and your child have to report back. They won't know there is an opening until they determine the "no shows." That's why they have the check-in 30 minutes before the session so they can work in kids from the waitlist. Once a "no show" spot is filled, a signed-up latecomer is out of luck.

Thanks! I was wondering how soon they give away your spot. We had to run from Epcot to get there 30 minutes before our show (long story) but there was nobody else there at that time. Kids showed up right until the last minute it seemed. Still, I wouldn't want to take the chance of being late.
