Does anyone have any details on what they do at the Jr Chef class at the Food and Wine Festival? Do you have to get there early? What types of things do they make? Do all of the kids get to participate? Is it age-appropriate for a 6 year old...and how about a 4 year old? TIA!

We just did this today! It was fun and my 4 yr old had a great time. You get there about 1/2 an hour ahead of time and they take about 24 - 30 kids per session. They give you a chef's hat, then they show the kids to a table, which has a chef's helper assigned to it. That adult CM helps the kids do everything. They make a recipe for fruit pops (frozen) as a group. The kids are assigned to do a specific task to help with the recipe. One adds mango pieces, one sugar, one stirs, one adds water, etc. Then the recipe gets put in the "Magic freezer" and they are given packaged juice pops at the end. Goofy plays a game with them during the event.

Zoe had a fabulous time and talked about it all day!

Sounds perfect, our girls will LOVE that! Thanks so much for the great info!!!

One more question, do you know if they make the same thing every session? Thanks again!

We know you can act like a kid at times but the event is ages 11 and under.

The wine and booze events are 21+ and no you cannot bring the baby with you.

12 to 20 years old only have the Chef and Kitchen Konversations, sorry.
