Joy & Sadness meet at DCA?

Hi all! I just saw on the app that Joy and Sadness are at DCA today. I would love to meet them and haven't heard too much about them at Disneyland. We saw them from a distance at Epcot a couple years ago but the line was DAUNTING. (Now that I think about it, I remember getting in line at one point.) Anyway, does anyone know if they show up fairly regularly? And do they usually walk and wave (as opposed to signing autographs and posing for pictures)? Any info would be MUCH appreciated! So excited this is a possibility!

We met Sadness on the 17th around 4:30, and she didn’t have a line (we waited behind one other group, I think). We just went where the app said. She spent quite awhile with us.

We have not met Joy at DCA (met her on a cruise), or met them together.... but our one Sadness experience was easy peasy.

Looking at the app, if I am reading it correctly, it seems as though Joy and Sadness do not appear together at Pixar Pier. If you timed it right, you could meet both of them, but not together. There would a picture of you with Joy, and another picture taken later that day of you with Sadness. I hope this helps.

Omg what a great picture! Thanks for sharing! I'm glad I have confirmation meeting them in CA is/could be a thing. Makes my day.

When we were there in October we met both Joy and Sadness together on Pixar Pier. It was a meet and greet, you could take pictures and have books signed and interact with them. I just watched the app and showed up a few minutes before the time listed and waited for them

I met her this summer. I was originally in line for sully, but he was leaving and she was next. The line wasn’t long at all. It was also pretty hot this day, so that may have contributed lol

I have to admit, when I first read the title of this thread, I thought it was going to be a commentary on Rise of the Resistance Boarding group success and failure.
