If you had to throw away a fast pass on either one of these attractions, which is more worthwhile? I'm helping a friend plan a trip for her young daughter. No thrill rides for this little girl, and she's afraid of the dark or loud noises. Now that I think about it, Captain EO may be too frightening for her.

I would go with Figment. We did a throw away for it at the beginning of May but it proved valuable as the wait time was 25 minutes.

Another vote for Figment (and not just because he's my favorite). The ride is pretty tame; there is one section where it gets dark and you hear a train, but other than that, it's pretty bright. Captain EO can be pretty intense for small kids; in that the queen is pretty creepy looking.

Imagination for sure. Captain EO is guaranteed walk-on (you will only have to wait for the next show to start). I noticed on my last trip that Imagination can get a moderate line. Nothing huge mind you, but 20 minutes can happen easily it seems now.

Figment for sure out of those 2, but as PP mentioned there is a short dark part with the train noise, also puffs of air shot in your face. Have you also considered Nemo, Character Spot, Living with the Land? Also Spaceship Earth is dim, but no pitch black stuff, and overall very serene.

I love Figment! It is so cute.

I pick neither. Neither needs a FP and both are an opportunity to rest your feet and get some AC.

That's what I thought before our May trip - and we waited in line for Figment for 25 minutes...which is about 24 minutes longer than we have ever waited. :)
I also dragged my family to see Captain EO for the first time. I loved Michael Jackson and grew up in the 80's - There was no wait, but I owe them the 18 minutes we spent watching that mess.

Figment. The minute we exited Figment, we went to Eo and had no wait time at all. No need to use a FP for Eo even during busy times.

Another vote for Figment! We did EO a couple years ago and that should last us a lifetime (or two).
