Karla and Lisa have stepped up to lead us out of the "Bite Me", zone. Yesterday when I was whinning these brave princesses, chose to do good and inspire us.

Everyone today join them and lets all have a super workout. If your injured you can still do some core work or weights or in Roberts case he can be a bait fish.

It's the coldest day of the year for us here in Southern Ky. So that's a good time to suck it up and decide to get back to taking care of business. I'm going to the mall when it opens at 7am and walk my miles. I'll crank the iPod and get in the steps.

We have a half, a marathon or a Goofy to do in 2 months, it could be hot like last year or freezing like 2006, so we need to be ready for anything. The WISH Team will get it done, and have more fun than ever.

Charging Panda, Grrrrrr:hippie:

I have to say what pulled me back to the light was receiving my photo book from Shutterfly yesterday that I made after the ToT run. It made me smile seeing the race again and thinking about the Minnie. You who are doing the half, full or the Goofy are such an inspiration to me daily. I was just able to start running a year and a half ago after a long battle with my knees and just giving up hope of being fit again. Everyone who posts on here is a winner no matter what place you finish in.

So, everyone, follow the Panda back into the light!!!!!!!!!!! :worship: Or is that where all ain't right?????? :lmao:

Ok walk completed so I don't have to put another big zero in the log book. It was just a brisk 4 miler in the mall but it's in the bank.

Do you suppose if we all posted our miles on one thread and added them together we could do a 1000 miles this weekend?

Panda not right? Who told you that?

Stronger Panda:hippie:

I have emerged from the BMZ as well thanks to all the support. The road to success is a long and rocky road. We have to expect some bumps along the way. As Dave mentioned, I will try to drown my sorrows in the pool 2 times a week while doing some upper body a few more. At least it keeps me moving while I rest my legs.

Everyone have a BMZ free day and weekend! Snow is on its way Sunday:sad2:

Robert, it's so good to see you optimistic again. Dude, you inspire a lot of people with your accomplishments. You know how unstoppable you are. I need you healthy so we can drink our way around Epcot together again.

We had a hoot of a time beering (is that a word) our way thru the training laps at the World Showcase.

Happy Panda:hippie:

I think I'm out of the BMZ myself. Yesterday's 4 miler was awesome. Just under/around 17 min miles, and I was in the ZONE. I think my gait is improving too because I felt like I was flying and instead of pounding along on my calves and chins I was using more of my thighs and butt muscles. Don't know how to describe it other than I could have kept going for a while! So now I feel pretty good about this weekend's 6 miles.

Dave, I have to thank you. Your 1000 mile challenge served to bring me back into reality. I was thinking I would blow off the run today but the motivation to put my mileage in with all the others was an awesome kick in the butt. I would have only gone 3 miles but I managed 3.5 and did it in 35 minutes which is coming back to an acceptable range for me post-injury. On the road to recovery, thank goodness...and thank you again.

Oh, and Panda, you ain't right and we love you that way!!!

I'm crawling back to into the BMZ. I went to my training session this morning. Feeling ok. Started exercising and my ears stopped to plug (like they do on a plane) by the time I was on the treadmill both ears were gone.

Paid a visit to the Dr's office and I was told I had a sinus infection which is affecting my ears.

I was feeling pretty good until she told me that and I swear from that moment on I've gone down hill how I feel. Now my ear is hurting and all I want to do is sleep.

Hey Karla? got a few miles to spare for my training log for Saturday :lmao:

Hope everyone else continue out of the BMZ and stays healthy. Hopefully I will have this kicked quickly.

Anyone with extra pixey dust send it Sunshine's way.

Concerned Panda:hippie:

I think it was your stick at the ToT that caused the injury:eek:

:lmao: Leave it to the group to bring a smile. Feel better Robert!!!

Thanks Dave. I'm skipping my LSD miles today which is a bummer since I'm only doing short afterwork ones or the gym now thanks to how early it gets dark.

To all running in the dark be safe. For me it's not the traffic I fear in the neighborhood but uneven sidewalks or hidden traps in the leaves. Be safe.

Oh and drug testing? LOL We all regularly do LSD on the weekends LMBO I'm horribly naive in regards to what is smoked, drugs and such but I do think that is something so it cracks me up whenever I say i'm doing LSD this weekend LOL I'm easily amused ;)
