Are they kidding??? My DD just finished wathing Phineas and Ferb and Jonas came on after so I thought I would let her watch it. This has got to be the worst program on the Disney Channel I have ever seen. They are all 3 terrible actors. Is Disney just making their singers become actors and actors become singers?? I know the Jonas Bro have a huge following but I can't imagine this show lasting!!

I have to agree! I think that they are trying to be like The Monkees tv show from long ago. It was silly, but quite funny. The Jonas Brothers - not so much.

I'm embarressed for them. I agree w/ above poster, it reminds me of the Monkees.

The girls and I like it.......I've seen way worse shows on tv. I think the boys are hysterical and it's a cute show. I like how they let little brother Frankie be in the show.

So does anyone else think that their "parents" look a little young to have kids their ages????

How old should they look? I"m old enough to be their mom and I don't look old...

I totally thought the Monkees thing too but didn't want to age myself :rolleyes1

My DD really liked it and didn't want me to change the channel but it was one I couldn't even watch with her. At least their music is okay.

My 11 year-old daughter even said it wasn't a very good show. (But she still thinks the Jonas Bros. are really cute!)

Do you think it's any different that Suite Life, or Hannah Montana, or Icarly, or the new stupid one Sunny with a Chance? :confused3

Because of the 4 shows, I would rather watch Jonas.

My DD9 loves the Jonas Show. I have sat with her several times and watched it. I think it grows on you. However, I do not see it lasting very long, not because of the terrible acting but because the Jonas Brothers are getting older, and I think they will lose interest in the show and will want to move on.

I remember when Hannah Montana first came out. With the exception of Jackson, I thought they were all terrible actresses/actors. In my opinion, the Jonas Show falls right in line with all of Disney's other shows ~ Hokey yet cute.

I didnt mean to come off mean I'm sorry. I'll retract my opinion.

My dd's won't watch it. They do enjoy Sonny with a Chance and ICarly though. I can watch ICarly, don't really care for Sonny with a Chance.

Sonny with a Chance really makes no sense sometimes. I catch myself watching it with the kids and leaving the room very confused. The acting on that show is somewhat poor as well.

DD9 watches it because she loooooves Nick.......but she doesn't think it's a very good show. She doesn't care, though. She's in love.

I'm a big fan of Hannah Montana and ICarly. I think they are very funny. The characters were obviously new to acting when they first started out but the shows were still, so much better.

Maybe it's the writing and the fact that it does sort of resemble the Monkees...I just don't think the Jonas show is funny at all.

I think they are bad actors but my girls like it so they watch it. It's not any worse than any other Disney show out there IMO and I'm sure that given time it will get much better.

I'm not sure what the PP meant (they edited their post but it was quoted) by the parents don't look old enough to be their parents, I have a 21 year old daughter and I don't look that old.....

BTW, just wanted to add that I'm not offended by the age statement, I just thought it was funny. :)

Eh, the Partirdige Family was not an award winning show with stellar actors either, but I sure as hell loved it for David Cassidy.
My 9/ yo daughter loves loves loves OMG loves loves Joe (isn't he cute. mom?) so much that I tolerate it for her. I figure my mom tolerated David, right;)

I didnt realize I was going to make everyone so upset about my opinion. What I meant is that the Dad doesnt look older than like Early 30s. With the oldest Jonas being 21 I would have expected to see someone a tad older looking. Their parent in real life dont look that young. I understand that there are some young parents out there, but the dad looks more like an older friend than a father figure.

Again I'm sorry that I've upset some of you.

I agree, i watched it once with DD and thought the show was just aweful, but I chalked it up to the writing. I think if the script wasn't so bad, the guys might actually appear to act better.
