couple of hypocrites... you can go on about how much you hate someone/something on the DIS (Miley, HSM, etc.) but when someone makes a thread about someone/something they like, they'll complain you shouldn't make a hate thread because it's wrong...

IMO I don't really like them. Their music is OK, but I don't like how they covered Busted's songs and made them "Kid friendly" -_- The original songs were alot better then them, but then, when has there ever been a cover that's better then the original?

I never bashed Miley, and I actually like some of her songs.
I like the jonas brothers and their music.
Please don't bash them, just because some people here bashed your favourite artist.

I only liked them when they were popular with the song Mandy...now its just annoying hearing how they are for little kids. They went bad after they went with Disney.IMO

I think that it's not great to make a hate thread, but if someone does, especially someone as new as she is, then you shouldn't tear her head off. And I do agree with George.
It could hurt your feelings that some people don't like it but they are entitled to their opinions and you biting other peoples' heads off could hurt theirs. JMO

It is an opinion...everyone has a right to an opinion. If you can have a Jonas Brothers fan club thing you can have the complete opposite. Everyone has a right to whatever they want.

Ok, before I go off on how I dislike the Jonas Brothers, I would like to say that everyone bashing this thread needs to look up Free Speech. Sure, the thread wasn't made in good taste, but somebody is voicing their opinion. Swallow the fact that somebody is bashing your favorite artist and move on. Ok?

Now that I've got that out of the way, I HATE THE JONAS BROTHERS. ALOT.

Ok, maybe I should clear that up a bit. I hate their music. It's a mess. It's generic drumming combined with the same generic bassline for every song combined with THE MOST BORING GUITAR RIFFS I'VE EVER HEARD. Top that off with lyrics that don't make sense and singing that sounds like an impression of constipation, and you've got almost every JB song.

I've tried to listen to them. I've really tried. But I can't. I just can't get past the vocals. Well, SOS wasn't the worst song ever made, but the vocals still cheese me off. Sorry. I don't have to like them, do I?

I also hate how Disney is milking them and using them as moneymakers. TWO TV SERIES' AND A MOVIE. WOW. They're just kids!

And their fans... AUUUUUUGHHHHH! They make me so angry. When I say that I don't like the Jonas Brothers at school, all of their fans jump on me and call me insane. They can't accept that someone doesn't like their favorite band. That's sad. When someone says they hate Queen or Led Zeppelin, I just brush it off or ask them why.

And for everyone saying, "OMG. How can you say that? They're 1. great role models/2. such nice guys/3. so hot!"

1. Yes, I know. They're living the dream at a young age. They show kids that they can live the dream, too. And yes, Nick Jonas does have diabetes and is showing that diabetics can succeed. Yup, they're great role models to young kids. But that doesn't make their music any less painful.

2. Yeah, they do seem really nice. Like the kind of people who live down the street. Everyday, nice kids. But did I say that I hated them as people? No. I said that I hated their music. Heck, look at Eddie Van Halen. He's a kook. But he makes good music IMO.

3. In case you didn't know, I'M A GUY.

So, rant mostly over. I know that alot of people (mostly girls) love the Jonas Brothers and their music, and they seem like really nice guys and good role models for kids. However, they're just not talented, and unless their voices magically improve somehow, which will most likely NOT HAPPEN, that won't change. I'll give them this, though: They aren't as bad as Mitchel "I Think I Can Rap But I Can't" Musso, however.

Rant over. Feel free to argue, flame, or show my post to all your friends so they can make DIS accounts and troll my PM box. I don't care. You have your opinion and I have mine.

Everyone assumes this and I believe for most of us it's not true. [when I say most of us, I'm speaking more for the other fans, not on here like on TJ, official fan club.yeahh]

but I TRIED to stay away from this thread, I really did.

And everyone wants to hear my opinion about this and this is what I think, not everyone is going to like them, I'm not forcing them to either. They can hate whoever the hell they want.
