Jonas Bros Concerts?

That's crazy!! We are from Alexander City, but I grew up in B'ham. We use to go camping at Point Mallard a lot when I was small. That's in Decatur, right? My DD and I are going with my sister and my niece to the concert. This will be the girls very first one and boy are they excited. :woohoo:

Does anyone know how much the light up glow things are at the concert? DD saw this on some Jonas Brothers concert video and wants one.

We bought glow bracelets and necklaces from Wal-Mart as the dollar store is over 20 min. away. However, we twisted them and they looked cool. Took 3 together and made a twist bracelet. I guess I am too cheap to do the other. However, take ribbon or string or such to make a necklace so you don't have to hold it. FYI.....Have fun!!

Thanks again to everyone for the help and guidance. Our show as last night and was right on target with what yuo all said. DD and her friend has a GREAT time. The shirt selection wasn't too bad and i really enjoyed the 360 stage.

I sort of felt as if they didn't really use those additional platforms on the side enough and it would have been fine if they didn't have those.

For those going tonight, if you have time head over to the verizon booth near section 114. They had an opportunity to have a pciture taken. here is mine: (i hope). Concert started right at 7:30 and ended just ebfore 11. Don't bother going too early. doors didn't open until 6:45 or so.

okay i can't get the pic to show...

Were you able to bring in a camera?

I was able to bring in a regular point and shoot digital camera with no problem.

We saw them in Dallas. It was Honor Society, Jessie James for 1 song, Jordan Sparks, Jonas Brothers, and then Miley Cyrus for 1 during the encore.

We had no problem getting in with two cameras.

What kind of cameras did you take in?

Just two small digitals- actually 3- one of DD's friends had on as well. DD left her Flip at the hotel since it said- no video devices but the bag check at Cowboy stadium was such a joke she could have easily brought it as well. We had awesome seats and got great pics.

Just got home from the concert.. Holy traffic!!! Great show. Should of waited to buy a t-shirt outside after the concert;)

"HASBROUCK HEIGHTS (July 15, 2009, 4 p.m.) — A Hasbrouck Heights police officer was struck and dragged by a car last night, July 14, right near the newly-opened SONIC Drive-in on Route 17 just north of the Wood-Ridge border.

Because of the accident, police have arrested 23-year-old Daniel Yi, of Hackensack, and charged him with second-degree aggravated assault, second-degree eluding in a motor vehicle and a fourth-degree driving without a driver's license offense"

Holy traffic is right! The above accident was on Route 17, our mapquest way home. Luckily I brought my GPS or we would have been so hosed. The police officer has serious leg injuries, but he is alive.

We're going to the concert in KC tomorrow night, can't wait! This will be the 3rd time we've seen them over the past year or so lol. Anyone else gonna be there tomorrow night?

We went to the concert in NY last week- we got out of there around 11:15. Tshirts were about 40.00 each and the light sticks and posters were 10.00.

So for those of you who went already, there were tshirts afterward from an outside vendor? Were they cheaper? DD has one from last year and I just can't see buying another one at those prices. We will be going here in Aug. in Columbus and it is a school night.

We were in Washington DC when they played there a couple of weeks ago and could still get tickets...I told my DD NO WAY!! Don't even think about it! We did see some girls (and moms) wearing JoBros t-shirts the next day and there was a pretty light blue one. But add up concert tickets, food, parking, etc...

Anyway, last yr. we brought in regular digital cameras no problem. Still ok?

They do put on a good concert though, can't wait!

Hi,
We saw them at the Bradley Center here in Milwaukee July 9th. Honor Society opened first. Then Jordan Sparks came on and this all girl band for one song. and around 8:30 ish the Jonai came on. We sat in the wrong seats for Honor Society and had a usher who wouldn't help us so I found someone that did. We ended up sitting in the first row of the balcony instead of 20 rows back:) Parking was $15 Souvies were crazily priced. Shirts were $40. Posters $10, and tour books were $20.00. Not to count we spent about $25.00 on soda and two pretzels lol! PS there was some guy in our parking garage selling shirts I was going to take him up on it :) I don't know who liked the concert more me or my daughter!

We saw people outside selling them- also saw people outside getting arrested and chased through the parking lot by cops that were trying to sell shirts! They were nice tye dyed shirts for 20.00.
Just make sure you have the shirt in hand before handing over the money because as soon as the cops start towards them they take off and at least that way you have the shirts in your hand.
Also- after the concert outside they were giving away free the fake backstage passes on lanyards and a jonas brothers picture on cardstock- like 9x15 or so. They were randomly around the arena giving those out so keep an eye out for them!

We just went to the concert on Sunday night in Auburn Hills, MI. It was a great concert, worth every cent I paid for the tickets. I took DD and 2 friends, although I will say that the amount of high-pitched screaming was indescribable.

We had Honor Society, Wonder Girls and Jordin Sparks opening for the JoBros. The concert started at 7:00, but we got there a little late, since my girls did not care about seeing anyone but Jordin Sparks and the JoBros. It was perfect timing as far as getting into the parking lot and the area and then exiting when the concert was over.

I will say that Jordin Sparks was much better than I expected. The boys were AWESOME, like others, I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, me or the girls. I think I have a Mom-crush on the JoBros. They were not only great performers, but also very gracious to the crowd.

As far as souveniers, the prices other posters mention held true for our venue too, T-shirts were $35-$40 and the sweatshirt was $60. The programs were $20 and a poster was $10. There were not any people selling shirts outside though.

Hope this help anyone who is going or considering going.

Just wanted to post about our experience last night at the concert here in Nashville. There was lots to do outside the area by several radio stations and Burger King and Verizon (tour sponsors). Inside on the concourses there was a Green Screen Video set up by Verizon. You just signed up for free with your email or Verizon phone number, got in front of the green screen with guitar, microphone, etc and they played a song. You danced and sang and it looks like you are in the video with the Jonas Brothers. They emailed it to me today. It is cute and for free a great souvenir.

First on at 7 was a group from here in Nashville called Everlife. They played a few songs. Then came Honor Society and again they played a few songs. Jordin Sparks for some reason was cancelled from our show. Then the Wondergirls sang one song (thankfully). Then the Jonas Brothers came on about 8:15. They played until almost 10:00. Both Honor Society and Wondergirls gave a location for after the concert where they would be so you could meet them.

A few helpful hints: BRING EARPLUGS!!! I am so glad that we saw another's suggestion for this. I have been to MANY concerts, but none compared to the loudness of the speakers and the screaming of all the fans.

Next, if you are on the floor or in the first 10 - 20 rows near one of the side stages BEWARE!! I don't want to spoil it, but I want you to be prepared. Joe and Kevin stood on a portion of the arm that comes out from the center stage and then the portion started rising. They then rotated the portion and they sprayed the crowd with a water / bubble solution. We did not get a little wet......we got SOAKED!!! My purse, hair, clothes and everything else was drenched.

Hope everyone else has a great time like we did and that this info helps!!

mary0305, I wish I had seen your post about your concert in Nashville before I went last night... it was really informative! My group did have fun a little bit with the buses outside before we went in. Jordin Sparks was not at our concert either and we were really disappointed. We went to the Jonas Brothers concert last year, and the main reason DD wanted to go again this year was to see her. Does anyone know what's going on with her?
It was a great concert anyway...
