So I just saw on Perez Hilton that Jon has stepped out with his 22 year old girlfriend like 20 days after filing for divorce!!! Now hes on the cover of People Magazine talking about it.

I feel so bad for thoes kids because when they grow up, they are going to be the ones who have to deal with all of this

The media has made it so he is the bad guy in all of this mess but I feel that Kate is the one to blame. She constantly mis-treated Jon and when he finally stands up for himself, it's turned that he is being horrible. I also heard that Kate allowed Jon to date other people (she gave her permission) as long as Jon showed up for filming. So I think Kate is the one that messed up here, not so much Jon.

But I do feel bad for the children. Any divorce is hard on kids and having to deal with it in front of America makes it even harder.

blaming the victim of a cheating situation is like blaming a woman for being battered. even if she talked back, she didn't deserve to get hit. and even if she was hard on him, that doesn't make it okay to cheat on her.

i'm not surprised at all. once it surfaced that JON is the one starting the rumors that kate cheated with her body guard (because, surprise surprise they're together all the time. thats what she pays him for ) i lost all of what little respect i had left for that man.

I used to be team jon, but now I'm team kate. He's off in france with is 22 year old girlfriend. now I know kate my not be with the kids at all times but atleast she's not on the other side of the world. those poor kids. The little ones may not see whats going on, but the 11 year olds sure can. If you don't like each other don't have eight kids.

that is completely false. why would she have been so surprised and freaking out like she was if she had given him permission? i've heard other people say that, and ive even seen it on some of those rag magazines, but its just another rumor in the rumor mill.

i truely believe that no one but jon, kate, and maybe jons girlfriend will really ever know 100% of what happened, but i know that when i watched the show and saw a family fall apart that there was genuine pain in kates eyes, and thats something that you can't fake for the camera.

its a sad, horrible situation that i hope never happens to anyone else, and i feel so bad for all of those involved, especially because they're having to do it with all of america watching them.

the children never asked for this, and yes, they have been given so many more opportunities that they would never have had otherwise, and they have more than enough money that they will probably never have to worry about anything (75k per episode, five-forty episode seasons.) and they have always tried to make it fun for the kids taking them to places like the bakery and getting them play houses, but i just wonder if they could have made the decision for themselves, if they would have chosen to do the show.

We really can't judge who was at fault here. We only see what happens in front of the cameras and hear what's reported in tabloids. I feel bad for everyone involved. Everyone deserves to be happy, and I hope everyone in that family gets to be happy after this.
