Has anyone read this yet? What do you think?
My MIL got it for me for my b-day last week and I am not done, but it has been interesting reading. One thing I did not know was all the issues Jon had with his job. He lost one job while Kate was pregnant, then he got another job once the babies were born, and after fixing their system and went to turn his insurance forms in, he was told he was no longer needed. I am at the point in the book where he decided to substitute teach (which I never knew he did) for $50/day.

I didn't read the book. However, that man sure has had a lot of different jobs. Even on the show. One day he is working for their friend Beth (who isn't on the show anymore...) then he works from home, and now doesn't work at all...

Sure he works. Its probably very hard planning all those vacations he gets paid to take.

I prefer fiction, but my sister read it in a very short period of time. She loved it and she loves Kate.

What stood out to her was Kate's reaction when she found out how many babies she was carrying. If I remember correctly, the doctor wanted her to reduce the number of babies. Kate and Jon were talking about it and she refused and asked Jon how he'd be able to handle killing some of his children. Apparently the doctor (or maybe it was a nurse? I don't remember) told her not to use the word "kill" and Kate was adamant that would be what it was.

I was impressed. I'm not a huge fan of the show, but that made me see them in a very positive light.

(Not going to debate this topic. Just offering my opinion.)

I agree. I don't want anyoneto debate either-just looking for opinions. I saw them both in a new light after reading the book so far. Just as she appears on the show- she knows what she wants and will not back down, and she admits to that in the book.
I just though it was an interesting look at how Kate thinks compared to how she is on the show. I see similarities and differences.

I read an excerpt from Kate's book in Good Housekeeping magazine. It interested me enough that I would like to buy it and read the whole book.

Multiple Bles8ings is the name, spelled exactly like that. My DH bought it for me one day and I am almost done with it.
