If anything, there will be a pointed t-shirt, and possible a glancing mention to untruths. But nothing will be addressed about Jodi. I'd be stunned if it is.

I used to love this program when it first started. Those babies were so totally CUTE! Even though that older girl was such a brat. Was it Mady? I can't remember.
Anyway, I think Kate and Jon have taken their celebrity to an extreme, where it's not even entertaining anymore. It's really gone to their heads.
I feel sorry for all 8 of the kids now. No way they will ever have anything close to normal lives.
I'm glad I work on Monday nights.

Honestly, other than watching the show and keeping up with this thread, I've moved on from the JK8 drama. It's all the same ol', same ol' on BOTH sides. I'll do an occasional skim of GWoP from time to time, but it's just so much (fill in whatever word you'd like ) that it's too much to even comprehend.

I agree!! I never really searched for JK8, but I'd occasionally click a link in this thread and read. Yeah, it's the same stuff over and over. There were a couple new posts about Jon being a saint, etc., etc., Kate is a witch, etc., etc., and people have just stopped responding to them. It's like "deja vu all over again!" I feel ya, sister!! I like good gossip as much as the next girl, but nothing's new. I seriously want Kate to just lay it out...people would be so shocked!! The GWoPpos' heads would explode!!

I was jsut rewatching the episode where they replace the carpet on the livingroom.
I can't remember for certain but I think it was Hannah wouldn't stay in the playroom and kept coming up and asking Jon questions.
She kept asking Jon why they moved the sofa/furniture out of the livingroom. Jon kept answering, and she kept asking. Finally he said something like "I moved it just so you would ask me why"...She said ok and left.

LOL is that not a classic kid moment or what. Reminds me so much of my 2.

I'll tell you what bugs me, though, is when people pick on Mady. She's a kid!! Granted she's a little more dramatic than the others, but that doesn't warrant grown-up women (I'm assuming most JK8 viewers/posters are female) verbally (type-ally?? ) attacking a child.

Not on this thread that I can recall, but I've seen posts that say "I love all the kids except Mady, she's horrible." Bad, bad, bad. Shame on those people.

When I was trying to find Julie's specific blog that called Joel serial killer I ran across yet another blog (or maybe it was just the comments) slamming the show. What was shocking was the number of comments attacking Mady.
Those "adults" need to grow up if they think attacking a 7yr old child is appropriate.

It keeps people watching, and then talking about it and then watching some more. There's some exploitation for ya. I have a son who can be 'difficult' like Mady (and 2 others who are not). How awful it would be for him to have his difficulties aired on tv for millions to see over and over.

Heck, both of mine can be difficult at times. My dd used to throw a lot of fits when she was the toddler through preschool age. Now when they watch with me and Mady is acting up, I just say "see how ridiculous she is being" and they agree But yes, I agree, sure show a fit now and then, all kids have melt downs, but enough is enough. The kid is going to have a complex, if she doesn't already!

would people believe Kate? Seriously? Is there anything she can say now that is credible? For me, I guess there are things she could say ... I guess it is more of a question of how she said it.

I think that the sheeple would stand up and cheer triumphantly i Kate spoke, but other than that, I can't imagine that anything Kate has to say would be so shocking. It isn't like she's going to appear on Oprah and say everything on Jodi's site it true. LOL.

I agree. Comments that speculate about the behavior and overall well being of the kids really bother me. If the shoe was on the other foot, would they like people saying that about their own children?

Lord knows I've had plenty to say about the show, but I've always kept the kids out of it. At least I think I have. LOL.

I guess it can. Sometimes children behave in a manner that seems inappropriate, but we may not know why that is. It seems cruel to me to call a child a brat without knowing what caused the tantrum or attitude.

With that said, there ARE kids that are bratty ... and it's just because they're bratty.

Obviously we don't know everything about their lives. If that were the case, there would be no show, no speculation, no internet buzz.

Brat is one of the more tame phrases I've seen to describe her.

It's completely fine to dislike a child, but if you can't say something nice...

This is also completely different than you seeing some child acting out in public. Chances are that child isn't well-known, and you aren't calling him horrible on the internet for thousands of people to read. Different situations.

It's just ridiculous to read someone who claims she is only thinking of the children single one of them out and call her names. Seriously.
