The house they flashed looked like the one they looked at on their way down to the Outer Banks.

I seriously doubt they got a dog. On the last FAQ show someone else asked if they would get a dog and it sounded like Kate was against it. I don't blame her. I have 4 kids and there is no way I would get a dog. I love dogs, but their a lot of work. I refuse to pick up dog poop and DH is not too interested either.

Yeah, but, you only had to carry one extra outfit. Kate would have had to carry 6 (or 8 if you count Mady and Cara).

who are you kidding. KATE wouldn't have to carry anything. She has hired help for everything else........

Man this show is like a train wreck. When I catch it, I can't stop watching. I think that Kate is... well I can't say what I think of her, and honestly, Jon is a saint putting up with her whineness.
Seriously. If the tables were turned and my husband acted like Kate, I would not be doing 90% of the work, asking what else could I do the other 10%. She sould be grateful he does what he does, with little whining (that we see).

Ok, back to J & K- as I watched last night's rerun, I felt so much sadness during the parts where I saw Beth and Jodi. I sincerely hope that someday the rift is resovled. Hopefully they watch those episodes and realize how much Beth and Jodi & Kevin love their kids, and how life is way too short to let disagreements tear a family apart.

I agree it was sad to watch Aunt Jodi and Beth on the show knowing they won't be back. As for Kate, I don't think in her eyes she was wrong.

I watch this show sometimes and Jodi seems so nice and always helpful.
Why isnt she going to be on the show anymore?

I don't know how recent the episode was, but I saw one the other day where Kate says (in the interviews on the couch) that she'd love to have a dog.

They said Jon wants a big dog and she wants one that doesnt' shed so they have decided on standard poodle

Anything about them not being friends with Beth anymore is speculation. Beth isn't seen on the episodes anymore so it does lead to questions of "what happened there?".

Think she will address questions about Jody, or other "helpers" they don't show anymore? When she was asked about their parents and why we don't see them, I thought her answer was very vague.

no way.

The questions/comments will be as carefully selected for that episode... as the comments are on GWoP.

If anything, there will be a pointed t-shirt, and possible a glancing mention to untruths. But nothing will be addressed about Jodi. I'd be stunned if it is.

I was kinda surprised that the new "season" is starting so quickly.
I think of other shows and they usually have a few months break in between seasons. You would think they would take a break from all the filming sometimes. I've also noticed how Kate used to get mad when Jon calls their life "seasons", but she mentions it now more than he does.

I'm not sure how their shooting schedule works. It doesn't seem like they're taking any time off, since the Hawaii vow renewal/season opener has been filmed already, and the beach shows were filmed around July 4. I'm sure I've seen when they went to the Adam & Eve show, but can't remember the date. As far as I've seen, the Hawaii show kicks of the new season later this year (October?)

Honestly, other than watching the show and keeping up with this thread, I've moved on from the JK8 drama. It's all the same ol', same ol' on BOTH sides. I'll do an occasional skim of GWoP from time to time, but it's just so much (fill in whatever word you'd like ) that it's too much to even comprehend.

Hi I am so behind on the J&K8 gossip. What was the falling out with Aunt Jodi? I saw the episode where Kate was really mad that she gave the little kids gum. I would have been mad too but would have kept my comments off camera and talked to her privately. Is that what started it?

I didn't realize Beth was out. I just figured maybe she didn't want to be on TV and have her life interupted. If there is a link on here can some one point me to it. I just haven't had time to read this thread from the begining.

I love the show. In many ways J&K are just like me and DH, although I don't apologize as much as Kate does for my bad behavior. We have 4 kids and it's always chaos here, so I can only imaginge it must be 2x the chaos in their house. Overall I think they do a great job parenting.
