it's the same thing as those who blindly defend Jon & Kate Gosselin ... it's CRAZY how passionate people are in their feelings about this family ... it really does go both ways!

I know! I think I'm done here until we can just start talking about the show again and leaving everything else out of it, this is just getting tiresome and old to me.

BTW, I can't stand my neighbor, maybe I should call a radio show and tell them that I want her to move.

Jon and Kate were looking at homes where it was warmer, on thier way down to the beach home. Maybe to getaway from everyone, but then who will help them, come and fold laundry, put away the laundry, and help out with the kids. I would be missing everyone that did help out. Kate did say, that she is not a winter/snow type of person. Any more news on the move? They also said a move would be done before the 6 started school.

Then why waste your time on it? I try to never focus my time and energy on things that there's nothing positive to say about, especially when it's something as benign as a TV show that has nothing to do with me. Focusing on your own life is much more effective

I agree but there is one exception. Those of us who do enjoy the show don't pretend to know everything that is going on behind the scenes. Why is it that those who come on here and hate the show (and the Gosselins) sooooo passionately make alot of accusations but offer up no evidence to back up their claims.

For crying out loud, I think I just may start to "pretend" to be a member of the family just so some of you will think whatever I post is 100% the truth.

but here's the thing.... there's no way to talk about just the show anymore. At least not on the internet. I guess there might be boards out there where people still talk about the show, how cute it is, and are blissfully unaware of the evil Jon & Kate bashers of the world? I'd say by now, places like that are few and far between.

In the hair transplant episode Jodi & Kevin had all 8 Gosselins, plus their own four. Most of the 12 were sick. Plus they had cameras filming them, which I would find very uncomfortable. I wish I had a SIL like Jodi- talk about going way above and beyond.

In the armchair chat Kate mentioned that Jodi & Kevin are always amazed at what Jon & Kate do every day. It made me wonder if Kate ever watched Jodi's kids for her. 8's pretty hard, but 12 is even harder. I think Jodi is an amazing SIL for helping J & K as often as she did.

Those are very good points. I don't hate the show or the Gosselins ... I may not agree with things they do, but am not a notebook keeping anti-fan There are things I like and things I don't like that I've seen in the show - and more often than not, I react as I watch. I've always found it fascinating how a group of people can see the same show (be it JK8, ER, or Days of Our Lives ... ) and come to a completely different conclusion. It's human nature.

As far as accusations, it's impossible for most of us to back anything up with concrete evidence. We don't personally know anyone involved with the family, production crew, or TLC. For me? I read and come to my own conclusions. There are some things I've seen that I find to be credible and more likely to be true than others ... I'm often asking more questions than having answers. I've been bashed for asking questions, drawing suspicions to a less than perfect Jon & Kate.

So while I may have no evidence that what I read and ask about is true, you have no concrete evidence that it isn't for the same reasons. We don't KNOW what's going on. We all see what we see in our own way.

But since that is all I came on this thread to do then it no longer serves the purpose that it originally did for me then it makes no sense for me to come on here anymore. I'm not getting drawn into all this "I hate Kate" stuff or the "I love Kate" stuff, which BTWI don't think I've ever seen one person here say she is perfect.

I'll watch the show, maybe I'll post when the topic is on the show itself again and not all the behind the scenes garbage, because I really don't care about the behind the scenes stuff at all. To me it is just a show and as such is edited so we see what the producers want us to see.

No, Kate never babysat Jodi's kids (or other kids) nor did Kate give Jodi and Kevin xmas or birthday gifts or give Jodi's kids some of the used Gymboree clothes or anything. Kate does nothing like that for anyone.

How can I give you evidence? Julie and Jodi have given you plenty of evidence and you seem to still wanna believe J&K are great people. If you want go call J&K and ask them. Of course they will lie like they always do.

people see others the way they want to - and that isn't always the way you or I or anyone else thinks. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.

and that's true about anyone. not just Jon & Kate.

There are people out there that believe OJ Simpson when he says he didn't kill his wife. LOL. (not looking to discuss that, but thought it might be an ok example)

Instead she did a 1 minute and 10 second video on her sister's blog that the vast majority of J&K watchers don't know one thing about. I think she was trying to respond to the people have been seeking her out, to give her support, to say they miss her. True, it is the internet and word gets out about things like this, but even still Jodie's audience is tiny compared to Kate's and Kate seriously did totally disrespect Jodie in that gum episode.

Let's see, the crew who filmed the first Tv show they were on, the fans who meet them in public say they are rude, the many many volunteers who worked for them and took care of the kids, the owner of the ReptileLand they took Alexis to. On and on and on!

I posted earlier in the thread a little bit about this ... and I was sort of joking, but not really.

It's still the lull of the summer TV season. Most talk shows are in reruns until at least September 3, if not September 9. Oprah owns (or will own at some point) the Discovery Health Network, which is the parent to TLC. I wouldn't be surprised to see Jon & Kate turn up there, although Oprah wouldn't touch the controversy with a 10-foot-pole, other than letting Jon & Kate address what's going on.

Not sure when the release of Kate's book is - there is extensive press set up for that, no doubt.

I wouldn't be surprised to see talk shows pick up on this story from Jodi's angle, either. It's the flavor of the month, and far more entertaining than listening to the news of the economy. LOL
