I guess this is one of the houses they looked at last night, I missed the show... but 1.9 MILLION! OMG! I hope they give up the love offerings at their speaking engagements if they can afford that!

I didn't see last night's episode, but if they climbed the Currituck Lighthouse, I give them a lot of credit for bravery!
We were there a few weeks ago and I got only half way up with my 6yo, and let my older two continue on by themselves. I had to go back down partially and waited for them at one of the landings. I really chickend out when my 6yo started getting skittish about continuing up!
We did a wild horse tour in Corolla as well and we LOVED it, it was so cool!
I can't wait to see these episodes!

Two million dollar house..dang..they may need to INCREASE the love offerings to afford that.

That's kind of cool, less than an hour from where I live. Never been to Hanover before..looked pretty, from what I saw!

Yes. I think they said the first house they looked at was "about 5 hours" from where they lived now in PA. That would be about right if it was in VA.

THey said they didn't like the layout of the home, which I believe is the one linked. It sounded like they were more interested in building their own home so that they could get it the way they want.

I feel so sad for Mady and Cara with this moving talk. Not only have they lost their extended friends and family (Jodi, Beth, etc.), but now they will have to leave all their school friends behind and start over at a new school. Not because their dad got a job transfer or because they are moving to be closer to relatives, but because their parents have cut off their extended circle. Sad!

Seems pretty obvious to me. Just a few months ago we were hearing Kate say how she ALWAYS wanted to live around the corner from Jodi, and also how much time they spent at Beth's. Both she and Jon constantly mentioned how they couldn't do half of what they did if it wasn't for the people around them. Now suddenly those people are gone and they are moving.

If I remember correctly the production crew or some part of the show is based out of one of the Carolinas, so maybe they want to move closer to that, which would make the move work related. And during the show they said they wanted to move to warmer weather.

Your assumptions are based on nothing more than internet gossip. Once again, I trust that Jon and Kate will make the right decisions for their whole family. Fact of life - families often have to move. Nothing sad about it.

I doubt that J&K will make the right decision...at least not in the best interest of those children! They are looking at the $$$$

Oh please....how would you know what they are looking at?
Doubt all you want, but it is very obvious when watching the show that the children are well loved, well cared for and are the top priority of both parents.

Or the space and room to live. Their current house is definitely small for the size of the family.

Also, maybe I'm in the wrong market, but since when does moving get you $$$$?? Sign me up for that!

Just because she's not in the episodes doesn't mean she's not in the picture. Most of the recent episodes have been outings. I know they've gone on a few trips with the family, but I would doubt she'd go on all of them.
