Do they have a backyard? Everytime I see them outside playing they are in the garage/driveway. I just find it odd to always play in the driveway. I can understand if they want to ride their ride on toys.

I've wondered about her not wanting them to get dirty...

My twin boys ,who are almost 4, rarely play in the backyard either.. And over the summer we bought one of the wooden playsets & haven't removed the older metal one yet. So even w/ 2 playsets in the back they would still rather be w/ the cozy coupes, tricycles, balls, etc...

But they love this show.. esp when the "little kids" are being shown. They now ask for this show instead of cartoons sometimes... And one of them after watching the extra scenes episode asks to watch the one where the mommy goes to the dr... don't understand that one!

I love this show. I think they are doing a great job. Better than most people I would imagine. I loved the Disney Episode. Kate is controlling and has admitted it. She should not be vilified for it. Marriage is tough at times. I hope they did discuss Kate's dismissal of Jon and get it resolved. I would not like to see that continue. Lastly, I am also very curious about the parents of Kate. If her brother lives just down the street , then I think her parents must be in the area. Jon said his dad was a dentist and he had passed away.

Anyone, I am a Kate Fan, but after last night I don't know. Jon disciplined Collin or Joel, and Kate actually told the little guy to ignore daddy, he is being a grump. Jon also commented that he disciplined one of the boys for hitting one of the girls with a banana ag gymboree, and Kate told him, she don't disciplin at gymboree. Wow, talk about mixed messages these kids are getting.

If a parents disciplins a child, the other parent should not "undisciplin" the situation and make the other parent out to be bad. As I said, I always liked Kate, but that situation wasn't right.

I'm a Kate fan I didn't like that at all! And she did it twice!

I watched this show for the first time the other night. I do not think I will be watching it again. I find the relationship between Kate and Jon disturbing. She is very controlling of him and her kids and quite frankly I don't see much affection between any of them. I feel bad for the kids, I felt like if Jon grabbed one of the kids by the arm one more time I was going to scream! I just didn't see love.

Jon's dad was a pediatric dentist. My sons were patients. He was a very nice man. I believe his mother has moved away from our area, but I don't know where. I do not know Jon or Kate. Thank goodness I don't know Kate! That woman is a piece of work! I know, I know, she has a handful day after day, but she is just something else!!! I've wondered about her parents too. Perhaps there was a "disagreement". Just seeing Kate, she doesn't seem to be the type to try to correct a misunderstanding. Yes, I do watch some of the shows....like everybody else, I'm curious!

Kate has said publically that her parents are not nearby and "not involved in their everyday lives." Whatever that means. Her father was a minister too. The kids have sort of a surrogate grandmother that has been on the show several times.

They are actually deeply religious although they are apparently asked not to emphasize it on the show. They came to a church here back in November for a public speaking engagement and DD and I went. The whole talk was basically about how God has worked miracles in their lives. It was actually very interesting. And I noticed on this weeks episode that she had posted bible verses all over the kitchen cabinets.

It is one of my favorite shows. The DVR is set for every episode. I just LOVE little Aaden, the professor!

The boys are easy to tell apart since Aedan has glasses, Collin is the only one with a little bit longer hair, which leaves the other as Joel. I know Alexis has somewhat shorter hair and Hannah's is quite long, but I can't remember what Leah's looks like. They really didn't show her or Joel at all yesterday.

I still can't really tell Alexis and Leah apart. They look the most alike to me. I never had probelms in the beginning figuring out who's who with the rest of the kids.

You know, Jon seems so exasperated all the time. I'm thinking that for a guy who works all day and sees his kids after work, it's Kate who should be the exasperated one!

I'm just thankful that I'm not in Kate or Jon's shoes!!!!!

He he he. I saw both episodes. I enjoyed kates comment on Mady "She's going to a fine teenager....." What a crappy way to say 'thanks' for all the brithday decorations. I think she just has some issues with feeling not quite as special as the rest. Though I am afraid I would have just left her in her room all night if she came in kicking like that.

Could be. Hard to make a child feel special when they keep acting like complete brats

I run a daycare, the kids like Kate's love to ride there bikes and cars. So to do that we also have to be in the driveway. We do start out in the back yard but will always end up in the driveway/garage. I live on a deadend street so we also take over the end of the street. It's hard to ride a bike on the grass.

That makes sense We live on a quiet street, my kids are older than the crew of 8, so they do play in front a lot, riding bikes and what not. If I remember right, Jon and Kate do not have a fenced yard, so maybe the garage is easier for her.

I love this show so darn much! I just about melted during the "Day in the Life Of" episode where Aaden was on the couch clutching his bucket after throwing up and one of the girls was stroking his hair.

"Aaden is my buddy." AWW!!

"Don't! Him will throw up on your hands!" AWWWWWWWW!

Which one of the girls was that anyway? I still thought it was insanely adorable even when she hit her sister after she wanted to get near Aaden... And quadruple "awww" that Alexis is known as "Sassy." You really do start to get to know the kids' personalities after a while.

I can't wait until the next marathon!
