i originaly saw the book advertised in the publisher's and j&k's website for an october release with kate and beth only listed as the authors (publishers are zondervan), and the press releases that were put out (as recently as february) make no mention of john being credited in any way as a co-author (name was'nt listed on the orignial cover in the pre-sale ads either). now the release has been pushed back a month and the sites that are doing pre-sale have a newer version of the cover (same photo) with john now listed as an author.

Jon, Kate, and family friend Beth Carson have written a book called Multiple Blessings to be released November 1, 2008. Originally, the book was listed with Kate Gosselin and Beth Carson as the authors.[5] Jon was added as an author after the initial press release, but before publication.[6]

Not always the best source, but it is listed.

no-zondervon, the publisher of the book is my source. they still have the original press releases archived if people are interested.

I love watching those kids regardless of all these rumors and opinions.

I can't wait to see the tups 4th birthday!

I wonder why there was no big, blowout birthday this year?

I love this show. I have some opinions but I am sure people have them about me too (esp my MIL:lmao: :lmao: ). Anyway, I just wish that the twins would have one BIG blowout party. I am sure they feel a little jealous sometimes. The website is even the six gosselins. I could understand if they were younger. Anyway, I would love to see Kate really plan a big party for them ( and even give each their own theme).

I just don't understand how anyone can assume that the twins haven't had a big blowout party; just because it's not shown on the show doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I know one year, Jon and Kate took the twins to NYC to American Girl place for their birthdays; think that's a pretty significant celebration.

In the past they have said that now that the twins are older, they get to pick what they want to do. Other things have made it sound like they did have big parties before the 6 came along, but have picked what they want to do since then.

Cool! I hadn't realized, nor had my hubby who usually has a radar for his fellow Koreans, that Jon was Korean. (with the last name I'm going to assume he's half, which makes it even odder that hubby didn't get that, b/c he's half as well and always knows when someone else is...he and other people have been known to lock eyes across a room, walk towards each other, and ask "your mother?" about which parent is Korean, LOL)

Wee bit sad if this is their first taste of Korean food, but then again, my 4 year old refuses to eat anything but rice from his grandmother's house, so maybe they've refused so far.:upsidedow

I know they've on a few episodes that Jon is half-Korean. His father was Welsh (I think) and something else and his mother was Korean.

Yes, they've shown pix of Jon's dad and he didn't look Korean; I think it's his mom's side that was.

It's probably not organic enough

Well, that's one of my problems with MIL's cooking as well. We're mainly organic around here (easiest way to avoid DS's corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup rages) but MIL isn't.

Interesting! I don't watch it all the time, so I guess I missed it. Hubby and I both assumed he was part Japanese for some reason.

Hubby's dad was Welsh too (and Portuguese)...even weirder hubby didn't get it! He really does pride himself (or did, until today, LOL) on his ability to spot "ethnic brothers" as a friend of his called it.:rotfl:

When they had the sextuplets' 3rd birthday party, Jon's grandma was there and Kate said something about her being their "Korean food maker"
