it already aired on Oprah but I don't remember when it was. It was pretty short...it didn't take the whole hour.

The Oprah episode was disappointing. They were only on for, what, 15 minutes?

I was so happy for Jodi last night - she was so excited to be going to the Oprah show. (maybe that's why she puts up with Kate - the perks!)

Its so funny, as I was reading this, DD was going thru the DVR and it was Monday/Tuesday 4-29 at midnight, so according to DVR it was recorded last night for me

I was waiting the whole episode for Aunt Jodi and Beth to show up.

Kate and Jon kept going on and on about how it's easy to take the kids on a 2 hour flight, piece of cake, blah, blah, blah.

And then...came Aunt Jodi and Beth. I knew they just couldn't do it themselves...not to mention Nana Janet ironing everything, jeez.

I think the fact that they knew they had help coming is what made it easy to travel. I can't imagine taking 8 kids to the airport. Jon and Kate would each have to keep track of 4 kids!

I love this show. I think Jon and Kate do an amazing job with a very challenging situation. I know my limits and being mother to eight would definitely send me over the edge---daily!

Oh, I'm sorry, I must have missed the rules on this thread that you aren't allowed to complain. You must always have something nice to say about Kate or you shouldn't post. Once again, sorry about that.

On Monday I loved when Jon said something to the effect that, .."we are a team and we can do anything together". I thought it was so sweet and showed the depth of their commitment to each other and the challenge of raising the eight kids.

Sorry if you take offense to having to find SOMEHTHING to complain about. OMG...could you or would you even attempt to take 8 kids, 5 of who are 3 on an airplane by yourself? I am sure it is MUCH easier to take the kids now then it was a year or so ago. I am sure even trips to the store are major undertakings. Give them a break, so they needed help to take everyone to Oprah (not the singing kind) I am pretty sure so would everyone else.

And for the record I think Kate is an obsessive control freak and needs to take a time out a lot of the time. Noone said you could only post if you have something nice to say. But on this thread is seems to be a Kate (and Maddie) bashing marathon.

Actually it does seem people pick on Kate, she does this she does that. Anyone with a large family has to have some control over it. Or you would go nuts.

ITA...that's why I have had very little to say on this thread.
It was really getting to the point that if you didn't think Kate is a greedy control freak asking for handouts, then there was not need to post.
