Something About Nothing............ #14

We leave early May, and I hope all is resolved by then too.

Was a glorious sunshine, blue skies day, and was a perfect one down the shore. Was high tide, we thought, when we arrived:

Boards were not too crowded, and forgot my hat, nose now pink. Oops, didn’t think to bring the suntan lotion either.

After a delicious pizza lunch, we came home with caramel corn buckets and a box of salt water taffy. Sadly, the macaroon place was only open on the weekends, and we’d rather visit on a week day. We decided to go again, at the end of next month, as more places will be open, as the official opening of our shore is Memorial Day weekend, and the parking fees start May 1st.

But Thirsty Thursday it was, as all had that venti sized drinks for the way down.

And, with that gorgeous blue skies today, we get a rainy overnight, giving us around a half inch of rain, and dropping the temp for our Friday. But then a cool feeling, but with glorious sunshine all day again, Saturday. High is 42 that day. At least Sunday will have more clouds and ten degrees warmer than Saturday. And, if we didn’t have enough rain, predicting rain the first days of April. Yeah, I know the saying April showers bring May flowers. But, nice to have days like today, warm and sunny 😎.

Hope all are surviving this week, the last full one in March already. Be happy, the week days end tomorrow, so have a terrific Thirsty Thursday today.

TGIF!

Yay, it’s a Friday, and that cool weather is still around. Did a gas fill up and another Target run, and that wind. Little brr from me.

Tomorrow, that little brr will continue, as 43 the high. Though some of the clouds will disappear and glorious sunshine all day Saturday. Kids are doing a Pokemon meet up in the one local park. They better bundle up.

Haircut next week, and I’m so ready for it. Sometimes I think the cut lasts longer than other times. Will schedule the next one a few days before our next trip. Yay, now only around 6 weeks away. Then told little one, since she has a pass for that other Disney park, we should do another cross country trip in the fall or early Xmas time, as it’s been almost ten years since I was there. I guess if we can snag those oogie tickets, it will be a fall trip. If we aren’t so lucky, then looking forward to that holiday season out there. But want to do that HHN at USO, this fall, so that hotel already booked. Will have to see if some Disney party there too, as may want to go there first. Have to discuss with little one and older one to see how many of us are going at that time. At least my AP gives me a free HHN ticket. Will have to see if it is valid during the time I booked, but I assume so, as all of September was available last year. Will have to see when they open those reservations, like they had last year. See they released the tickets and tours already.

Hope all have a nice Friday night and a most wonderful weekend. Wee next week we get to see April arrive, with the first days predicted to be rainy days, including the first day of the week after, Easter Sunday.

Let the fools enjoy this coming Wednesday, lucky 🍀 camel.

Either of those times would be an awesome time to go. I would like to go back again, but WDW is just so much more cost effective for me.

I forgot to tell a funny story from last week. I recently started a free trial of Apple Music so I added several new songs to my phone. We were listening on the drive to the zoo. It was almost to the end of Midnight Blue when suddenly Never Gonna Give You Up started playing. B looked at me and asked "Did we just get rick rolled by your phone?"

I don't remember if I mentioned that dh will be presenting at a conference in Atlanta in a couple of weeks. We are going to stay with my brother while we are there. His 70th birthday is at the end of April so my sister and I are going to take him to dinner for an early birthday. Today my SIL told me that he had chosen a seafood restaurant. When I told my sister she informed me that her daughter does not like seafood. Well, too bad. It's not her choice. My niece has always been like this. No matter what we choose she finds fault with it. It's going to be a long night. Unfortunately B has to work that weekend and won't be able to come with us.

It's getting late and I should probably go to bed. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.
