I think (thankfully ) that it's been a slow week... probably nothing new until the show premieres.

Not sure--she just completed Dancing--still has to go back for the finale. The permits just got allowed for +8, so if anything, they just started filming.

Totally not sure. At this stage, their still early in the pre-production or early production phase and we may not see anything for a few months.

Radaronline, has the "home pictures" of Kate playing with the kids, or shopping. Kate ran a 5K marathon with Kara last weekend. Kate had a big ole Nike sports bra on, and it said, everyone else running had t-shirts and shorts on. The article said, Kate would run ahead, and then wait for Kara to catch up. Apparently they came in last place. A 5K is just a little over 3 miles. I wonder if Kara was even prepared to run the distance. I'm pretty sure Kate runs on a treadmill, or she does the eleptic trainer.

Well, I guess the kids had their time off from work and now it's back to the grindstone. So, they had 6 months off to deal with their father moving out, parents divorcing, tabloid drama and now the cameras are rolling again. Looks like DWTS turned out to a great platform to keep the interest up for the new Kate+8. Seriously, are she and Jon totally incapable of making money without their children?

I hope they don't have to put in long hours. How exactly are the labor laws affecting them? I heard about the 15% being put aside but what about the hours they're allowed to work?

To them they may be back to some normalcy. They do seem to enjoy the camera men and maybe they think it's more like fun. Time will tell, by how many watch the show, if it will prove to be a success.
I see the paps are also back in full force. If people dislike this family so much, who the heck is generating the payment for these photos?

Boy those photos of Kate on Radar sure didn't put her in a good light. I don't think I have ever seen her look as bad even when she was stretched to the limit with the 6 babies in her.
She needs to make sure the makeup team gets there before the camera crew.

I read that they are still higher than in the past, but not as high as they were when she was on. But that may just be people getting bored with the show.

That doesn't mean it's right though. 'Normal' for the Gosselin kids involves camera men following them around their house with cameras in their little faces and setting up certain shots/scenarios. Taking trips for the sake of a new episode and all the stress that probably involves. Of course they *seem* to enjoy the camera men, lol! Do you think they'd (TLC) would show footage of the kids not enjoying them? Footage of them being annoyed because they don't want to be filmed? I know we saw Mady with her No Filming sign on her door but who knows what else that episode involved. It could've had Mady screaming at the camera men to get out. Personally it irks me that their home is the set for the show. That should be a place of relaxation and peace, especially given what's happened in their sad little lives in the last year.

As far as the photos go, hasn't it been speculated that radaronline is working with TLC/Kate? If so, they're releasing these shots and then pocketing the $ they get for them. I wouldn't be surprised in the least.

I still have a feeling that Kate+8 will not do very well. It's been over 6 months since they were filmed and so much tabloid trash has been thrown around that people might be sick of Kate. Kind of like Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan and the others. They've definitely worn out their welcome! Oversaturation!

I didn't saw it's right or good, just that for them that prob is normal.

Those photo's looked to me to be the paps photo's not TLC's. Do I think if they saw the kids unhappy they would post them? I sure do. In face I think they would take 50 photo's just in the hopes of getting one with a sad, unhappy kid. They prob get paid more for thoses. As for the trips, no matter what I think about them being on TV, I know my kids would have put up with a lot to take some of these trips. I would think there would be less stress, since all the arrangements are made for them.

It has been mentioned that radar likes Kate, and many of the boards where Kate is not liked has said they are 'with' TLC. However, they are not the only ones buying photo's from the paps.

I thought so too, but I've been to several sites in the past couple of days, and I'm surprised that there seems to be more positive being said, and more people than in the past are looking forward to the new Kate + show. So we'll have to see what the ratings are. I am thinking they will not be the high ratings they were towards the end, but more like what they were mid way through. As for her new Kate with a Twist..I just don't see how anyone would think that will work LOL.

Go back and click on links in the story. Looks like the camera crew got there early, and Kate may still be in her pj's. Sort of like me in the morning when the UPS guy comes for pick-ups LOL. He's seen all of my pj's and prob thinks I never comb my hair!

I would say that Radaronline is working with TLC. They posted "new pics" of Kate, well they didn't say new pics but to me it was implied. Anyway, it was of her and the kids , the dogs were there. Some people on another site were saying oh look she did bring the dogs back, Then you look at the date, it was back in 2009. I do 100% believe that they were trying to imply that the dogs were back, so Kate would look better in the public eye. Also it was photos where she had a hat on, so you couldn't tell it here hair was short or long. I also believe that the paps are there to get more exposure for her since her show is coming up. Remember the olds saying, the only bad press is no press. I think Kate and TLC believe this.

I misread then. I thought she meant TLC and radar were in together and radar wouldn't show bad pics. They have and also TLC has certainly shown unhappy kids.

And that awful pic of Kate was on radar. That certainly wasn't attractive. Most of the awful pics I've seen have been on radar, including the spanking, so if TLC and radar is in it together, they sure shown some stuff that doesn't make people love Kate. But it doesn't matter..as I've said many times, any publicity is good publicity for them.

I'm going to hold an opinion on the show until it's on. I'm going to hope it's not going to show the personal stuff and that the taping is really as they kids play, vs having them 'act'.
