I really haven't. I've seen pictures and read the articles, but I haven't watched. And you know, I'm really not too curious about it, either. It's on opposite the CBS Monday night line up that I LOVE (Two & a Half Men, Big Bang Theory, etc) ..

I have NO idea how accurate this is, but Dial Idol has Kate ranked as the #1 vote getter from Monday night. I know Dial Idol does fairly well predicting American Idol, so maybe Kate won't be the first one voted off. Also though, they have Buzz as the #2 vote getter. Their Rankings go like this......

I found this interesting little tidbit from Maks on DWTS regarding Kate. For anyone who doesn't know, Maks is a professional dancer on the show and he's hilarious!

Hailey Glassman is planning on becoming a star like her ex-boyfriend Jon Gosselin.

Glassman tells RadarOnline.com</B> that she's moving to Los Angeles to film a reality show.

"I'm moving out in August and probably moving to the Santa Monica area," she says. "I was offered to do a show called 'Starting Over,' which will be about me leaving New York and all the negative behind me."

"I don't know LA at all, I could love it, I could be the biggest trainwreck. My mom is so upset, but I have to grow up. Living in my parents' house is going to keep me a little girl forever. I have to be out on my own. I need to find my passion again and figure out who I am. The world only knows me as the tabloid Hailey. Hopefully through this show they'll see me for who I really am," she adds.

Glassman will also take part in the Celebrity Boxing Circuit. "I was approached to fight and I'm meeting my opponent next week," she said. "I'm going to try not to hit her too hard, I don't want to damage her implants."

Hailey and Jon dated for several months after his split from his wife, Kate Gosselin. The Gosselin family life was chronicled on 'Jon & Kate Plus 8.'

I think it probably has more to do with the fact that the girl wasn't getting enough tabloid press to make having to kiss that ugly face worth it. I mean really, does Jon think any of these young tarts are interested in him? They are interested in getting their faces in the tabloids. Desperate.

Hailey is proof of this theory. That these girls are dating Jon for exposure. Do we really think Miss Hailey would be getting a reality tv show if it weren't for her high profile relationship with Jon? We wouldn't even know who she was if it weren't for the fact she was dating him.

Anyways, about in the middle of the show, Kate mouthed "I Love You". I know it was probably to the kids, but it was wierd.

Perhaps she just cannot learn how to dance period, but you would think that maybe instead of getting insulted he could communicate with her a way to get her to understand. my husband watched. said Kate looked like our 8 year old DD dance class dancing .. she forgot her steps, and kept looking at her partner to see what she was supposed to do (DD's class watch their teacher in the wings). He said it was really bad... but then again, he said that about pretty much everyone who wasn't Pamela Anderson.

hmmm ... I could go back and rewind the DVR and watch myself ...

It was all weird. Lots of people on the show have kids, get over it. The judges have it wrong. She has to be playing a character. Nobody is that much of a hussy to everyone all of the time. It has to be drama for ratings. She was talking to Tony like Jon. Blaming his teaching instead of her lack of focus and skills. Speaking of skills...holy cow. Does anyone really dance that badly and go on a dancing competition? What the heck was she doing? I feel bad for her, she looks terrible imo. Are the hair, makeup, and wardrobe people really doing that to her?

Your DH is right Madge, she was awful. It was painful to watch and I felt bad for her. She was almost as bad as Buzz Aldrin and he's 80! Did I mention that it was painful to watch? And you should've seen her rehearsal footage, it wasn't pretty. Her partner literally walked out on her and said he quit. He's the nicest one on the show IMO so he must have been pretty pissed off!

there was an article last week that said Kate wasn't listening to Tony until she did so poorly during the first show. I can't find it now, but linked to it last week, I think. The article alleged that Kate was more into her workout, tanning, etc than she was the dancing. If what my DH said and what I'm reading is true, there might be some truth to what was in that article.

even if she danced that badly, I predict she's on the show for another week. She'll be in the bottom two, and then there will be "Save Kate" movements on the internet. LOL.

This has been the most watch DWTS so far, and I think they want to keep it that way. I agree that it was what ABC wanted us to see. It looked like several of them were discouraged this week. I personally couldn't do it at all..not even when I was much younger. But that said, Kate was pretty bad LOL. I think she was third from the bottom..anyone remember what it was this week? She just doesn't have any fluid movement. I think she truly can't dance and can't follow what Tony wants her to do.
As for the 'save kate' movement, some sites are reporting she is way ahead on the phone calls, so she does seem to have a following.

I thought Shannen did very good this week. She too was frustrated during the practices.

I just don't get how they (any of them) learn all of that in one week.

As for mouthing to the kids she loved them..it's like Carol Burnett pulling on her ear. Doesn't bother me at all, and if it gives the kids a thrill, so be it.

I watched. Even after I said I wouldn't... I couldn't stand it, so I rewound and watched.

It wasn't good. It wasn't like she was having an off night. There are some people that just can't dance. And Kate is one of them.

I'm betting that those around her are telling her she's good and will get better. I also believe Kate wanted to be on the show as much as ABC wanted the ratings. A match made in TV heaven.
