How depressing, that actually made me feel sorry for them....the parents this time.

This line for some reason just struck me;

That's exactly the way I felt about the article. But it was all so true -- sometimes the truth hurts.

Great article. Totally spot on about the whole situation.

i sure hope it's not supposed to be some kind of symbol of kate's committment to the kids, because in my mind-the only symbol of committment to one's children is being committed to ones children through your words, actions and parenting.

ITA with this -- especially wrt the 5 y.o.'s. I think it's just a "poor me" talking point that she and her publicists came up with.

I agree with all of the above - and just had to pop back in to say how thrilled I am that the Gosselin's have pretty much fallen off the covers of mags and rags, you barely hear a blip about them anymore on the news, and it looks like they're both going to have to get REAL jobs and start supporting their children - the way parents should..

Maybe these kids will have a chance to just be kids now - not have to deal with the "P" people - not have to listen to the gossip and whispers about their parents - not endure any taunting from their classmates - and begin the long, long road of healing..

I hope their "parents" can behave themselves and provide these kids with a normal, happy Christmas season - one that doesn't revolve around bickering, finger-pointing, degrading one another, and the never ending "gimmes"..

Time to close the chapter on these folks..

I the combination of the show ending and Tiger Woods' drama have kept the Gosselins off of the front page of tabloids recently.

Michael Lohan gave his deposition this week, and Kate is one of Barbara Walters' most fascinating people of 2009. That's pretty much all there is these days.

Yeah, it's not. I've seen the specials, and she is not at all discerning about what makes them facinating. They can either be "facinating" for their stupidity and something like willingness to exploit their kids, or they can be facinating for some nice reason. I'm thinking our facination with Kate is more in the first category.

what child in the world gives a rat's patookie if their mom is wearing a ring or not? the only way a ring worn by a mom would hold any importance in a child's mind is if mom has somehow built up in their mind's that the ring is symbolic of something, and the absence of her wearing it has a negative connotation.

i can see (though i don't nesc. agree) with a young child getting the symbolism behind a wedding ring, and that it's worn by mom and or dad to symbolize their marriage, but if the marriage has ended what's the message of the new ring? i sure hope it's not supposed to be some kind of symbol of kate's committment to the kids, because in my mind-the only symbol of committment to one's children is being committed to ones children through your words, actions and parenting.

I just watched the interview with Kate Major on Radaronline...this girl is a "wacko"...how could Jon be so stupid as to get messed up with her...I really think that she is so delusional that she could hurt somebody...I can see why Kate said she had to take steps to "keep the kids safe"...what in the world was Jon thinking....

I haven't posted in awhile. I wonder how much is owed on the new house? Would be hard to sell in this market but they should sell that house and move back to the old one. I would imagine there are much happier memories there for everyone.

It's really a sad situation and I feel bad for all of them.

What the heck are they thinking? I bet it is a show where she has to do all the "icky" jobs she thought were beneath her before. Maybe she will be a gas station attendent next. Ha! She could work in a daycare and have to take care of babies and give baths, that was beneath her too! Work at a laundermat and FOLD CLOTHES!! She used to pass that off on the poor neighbor ,remember?! This is sorta of funny when it is someone like Paris Hilton who really is in that income stratesphere where she is out of her element....but Kate is a PA mother who grew up in a trailer park! Why will we be interested in watching her have to have a "real" job? It's not like it is out of her element to be a waitress.

Note to TLC: GIVE IT UP! We don't care about Kate. She is not interesting. She was the freak/side show act while we were interested in watching her kids. We were only intrigued by what a nasty person she was. We will not watch a show with just her. Never. Ever. Please. Let her go away already.

Note to Kate: Get a grip on real "reality" and start providing a normal and real life for your kids. You are not that interesting.

I can't believe Steve is still Kate's Bodyguard.
I've said it a couple of times-they will be a couple as soon as the divorce is over.
She complained way to loudly how she won't date anyone, and who wants to be involved with that many kids.
I'm betting when the truth comes out, she will say, how, Steve loves her kids, bla, bla bla, her situation, bla, bla,bla, they didn't want it to happen.
