Heck, Jon Gosselin must be unbelievably sexier and infinitely more impressive and persuasive in person than I would ever have believed. Women with no judgement and fewer morals seem to fall over like nine-pins when he comes over the horizon. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Bow-chick-a-wow-wow........:lmao:

Jon's new gig....The Bachelor, 2nd chance.:lmao:

I think it would be good in pop-up video format....

Jon's thought: "This chick kisses better than both Kates"

Chick thought: "So I wonder if I'll be able to get implants"

******
later on the date....

Jon's thought: "Diggin' not being bossed around..."

Chick thought: "So I wonder, if I get him to sign this napkin, will I get the final rose.."

*****
The finale

Jon's thought: "Which one is the least like Kate....hmmm....."

---

Chick thought: "'You will so regret this, that's it buddy! I'm suing you for breach of contract AND I'm going to radar.com and making big bucks letting them know how much of a liar you are. You told me you loved me. You signed the napkin. You'll pay for this. And the whole world will know that you kiss like a drooling St. Bernard."

Now I'm thinking you should work as a writer. I enjoyed that more than the real show. :lmao:

Brilliant! Just brilliant!

Wouldn't Jon make the perfect "used bachelor". They would have to extend the show a few episodes to allow him to sleep with every girl and promise her the ring at the end.

The only problem with doing that show is he is a married man.

Maybe Married with Children would be a better title.

He could be the new Al Bundy:laughing:

Ok, so I know that J&K are pretty much ridiculous in their own unique ways BUT I just saw a clip on TLC for the last episode and I got teary-eyed. Seeing the kids, how big they are now, how much they've gone through made me sad. I used to love this show, really truly love it. In the beginning it was so cute, sweet and relatable to my own life. The whole thing makes me sad, sad, sad and I really hope that this little family can find a way to heal. Is that sappy enough for you all? :goodvibes

I was just helping him out with his future career choices since he's so....famous and unable to find a real job.:cool1:

Holy cats! Slow J&K+8 day huh??

To keep on topic, I wonder if the kid's school has a Thanksgiving lunch or program. I went to DS5's Thanksgiving lunch at school today - too cute! He's been telling us about pilgrams that were shot by a mean king, Squanto the Indian (that you can also call a South American) and feasting. :rotfl: Their little class lunch is on Tuesday before they go on break so that should be interesting!

Have a super duper afternoon everyone!!

It strikes me that in many photos the kids arnt smiling. She also needs to put the coffee down ant play with her kids.

Looks like Kate will be getting her own show on TLC minus the kids. I think that's good. She'll be doing what she can to earn money, and the kids will get a much needed break.

Through all of this, I never doubted they loved their children (both J & K), I just think it all got out of hand. This is good, that she can give it a try and see how she does solo. I hope Jon has luck finding what he wants to do with his life.

As for the coffee..I could care less if she has coffee in her hand. Both her and Jon have been shown playing with their children. My husband is seldom withut coffee, but it doesn't mean he didn't play with our kids and grandkids or loved them less. For Kate, it just means that's the photo's they chose to show us.

I don't think you should feel sappy. :goodvibes I feel teary eyed about the kids too.

The kids are sweet and had so many adorable moments. I do hope the kids survive. As well as they can. I hope they get help, because they need it.

I actually came into this late. I became involved because I saw a marathon, shook my head, and asked why, and how, can this kind of thing be in any way seen as entertainment? What about the children?

Whatever the parents' original motives, TLC played a huge part in this family's crash and burn.

Just imagine the life the Gosselin children now have. Paparazzi following them, Mom and Dad bashing each other on TV, lots of Mom and Dad moments in the tabloids, and multiple kiddie melt-downs sold for profit by TLC for people to smirk at. The Gosselin parents' (blatent and unashamed, IMO) courting of the paparazzi for notoriety did play a part in the last 8 months, but still . . .

I guess if viewers really want a "fix" from TLC on kids in trouble and family drama, the Roloffs are supposedly heading for divorce.

I'm still crossing my fingers for the Hayes family. I hope that they are not selling out their children a la J and K. I would run very far and fast if I had signed with TLC. I hope the Hayes did not sign a contract similar to the one the Gosselins signed. The one that TLC seems so desperately not to want to become public.

The Gosselin debacle is really very sad.

it's a long time until Spring ... will people still be interested in Kate Gosselin and whatever it is TLC thinks she'd be a good fit for, TV wise?
There are lots of people on TV I never thought I would enjoy or that I ever heard of. I'll have to wait and see what kind of show it is. I'm hoping it has nothing to do with her notoriety. Maybe she'll have a gossip show :rotfl:

I'm glad the kids will be getting a break.

BUT

I wish there was a way to give reverse (i.e. negative) ratings for a show. I hope her show crashes and burns. Sadly, it probably won't and she will continue to live in "la la land."

I don't understand why. I'd rather she worked at something that will pay the bills..a lot of money will be going down the tubes with these court cases of Jon's. I hope it doesn't crash and burn. I want to see the kids fed and well taken care of, and to do that the parents need jobs. I have no problem with Kate having a job on her own. I want both parents to earn money on their own, so they won't need specials or shows with the kids. For me it was never about any of them crashing and burning. I've grown fond of those kids and Kate having a show may keep them supported.

I was thinking the exact same thing Madge! If a show doesn't work out for her she better look into something else. Lets face it, they are both responsible for the waste of money concerning the divorce, lawsuits and the number of lawyers who have represented them. I wouldn't doubt if the mansion ends up having to be sold to pay off some debt. I have a friend who has 5 kids (1 child has downs syndrome) who is a single mother and works as a nurse. Jon is going to be responsible for some amount of child support so he better get over the "I'm too famous" and find a job like real people do.

This train wreck has carried on way too long. Good for these kids to finally be free of cameras and try and live a normal life!

She does have her nursing to fall back on, but if she wants to try this first, why not. It certainly would have the potential to bring in a lot more money, and if it enables the children to stay in their home and or their school, good. The have had enough changes in their lives. Most of us have dreams, and I'm sure she isn't any different.

I'm sure this divorce isn't going to be cheap. I only hope that Jon doesn't lose the TLC case though, because that could end up wiping them out..and that is his responsibility if he's found to have pulled out of the contract. Unfortunately they'll all pay for that if he loses.

I would be very surprised if they get to keep it. I think this lawsuit has the potential to really harm all of them. At this time and this housing market in the northeast, I'm not sure they will come out of that debt free.

I wouldn't be too sure about that -- the bulk of what TLC is asking for is the money that Jon made doing non-sanctioned interviews, and then there is the compensation for not showing up to film one day (but I highly doubt that they will get that, based on how it was worded in the claim). The fact that TLC is spitting out motions to have vital parts of their case sealed makes me think they don't expect to win on every count. If Jon loses he will also have to pay legal fees and court costs, but I still think the TLC lawsuit will be a lot cheaper than the divorce. Then again, he may be successful in his counter claim (but I can't see him getting 5 million -- that number was for the media, I think. It worked though because they did run the story in a lot of places)

since it's TLC, who knows what it could be? LOLOL ...

Kate having a show may keep them supported, if it's successful. How much time will Kate have to spend with the children while she's getting this new show off the ground? I have no idea how the production aspect of a TV show like that works.
