On a morning interview she did about a month ago, Kate alluded to going ahead and filing because Jon withdrew a large sum of cash in JUNE.
If we're thinking about the same interview, it was on the Today Show -- what I now think of as the Money Interview -- and she said that she withdrew $100,000 because Jon had withdrawn money from their bank account prior to her filing for divorce (not that she filed because he withdrew the money). It's around the 4 minute mark on that interview (don't ask me why I remember that, I just do
)BTW, the part about her emptying the bank account on the advice of her lawyer later on comes just before that.
I can agree with this too, the emotional part. I suppose it would be difficult to sit in a church pew with your kids minus your husband when the whole congregation surely knows why he's absent. Awkward.
It's easy to be a 'can do' person when you have lots of help. I'm thinking the stares and whispers would be too much.
