That video is just sad! I know when I'm gone from home for just a night (or my DH) my girls run to hug me and tell me how much they missed me, etc. Sure didn't see that here. Now, I can see one of my DD's telling me they didn't like what I had on, but it would be after awhile.

Mady did the same thing when they came back from North Carolina. Jon met them in the driveway and first Mady commented that she didn't like his shoes or something he was wearing, then she laughed at his earrings. Both girls gave him a big hug though. I think Mady is a little fashionista (not in a bad way, she likes clothes) so she notices stuff like that.

I agree. As a direct result of these parents' decisions, their kids are now paparazzi fodder.

And every time they call The View crying, or sit on an Insider panel, or show up on Larry King or the Today Show or Entertainment Tonight giving us a play-by-play of their personal lives -- THEY ARE MAKING IT WORSE FOR THEIR KIDS.

You can see this, I can see this, why don't these people GET IT??

I think my head is going to explode.

That's horrible, I feel so bad for Mady and Cara. Those paps are getting closer and closer. The last bus stop video I saw was with the Nanny but the paps kept some distance.. Today, they were practically on/in the car! I wonder if they can get restraining order or some sort of protection for the kids?

The live streaming for Jon's arrival is disgusting as well. I never believed that Jon pulling the plug on the show was for the best interest of the children. Ever since LKL, where he started his "filming my kids is unhealthy" argument, every move (like calling out Kate on ET to reading Kate's emails to the paps) he has made has put them more in the spotlight. It's like he kicked out TLC cameras to replace them with paps and tabloid show cameras. Kate didn't help with this mess when she went on The Today Show either.

Exactly. My DD insists on reviewing her father's clothing selection when he's packing for WDW But she always runs up to see him when he's been away at work, whether it's for the weekend, a week, or a month.

Those girls don't like their father anymore -- that's obvious. There were just as many paparazzi around on their first day of school, and they didn't act at all like that towards him.

That was nice. I'd like to see more of that from both of them -- probably the first time Kate will be happy that Jon talked to the paps.

He said "maybe they did it on purpose. I don't know" IMO, they did put it on last night on purpose.

Good for them But I read elsewhere that they were getting along a lot better than that. Sorry, I'll have to search for the link. But at one point, Jon said "I have to leave at 6 because it's mommy's time" and Kate said "No Jon, you can stay as long as you like" so Jon decided to stay and put the kids to bed.

Really -- is it just me or are the tabloid people sooooo much happier when they're fighting?

Was this on tape? How do we know this. Was Jon texting



Or maybe it was "the woman from Pennsylvania" that was tipping them off about Kate yesterday.

JMHO, but I'd be really concerned if my daughter said that to her father after she hadn't seen him for a week. That's just not normal for a girl that age.

On a side note, has anybody noticed that Jon has said hardly anything to the paparazzi in the videos taken in about the last 24 hours? He just mumbles a couple of words under his breath (sort of reminds me of the way he used to talk with Kate when he was on the show)? Like when one of them at the fence said "what did Kate say when you got here?" He just said "Hello"

Except, of course, when he took the time to compliment Kate (and defend her) about the skit she did on Leno.

Big change -- wonder what caused it? Wonder if it will stay that way ie. I'm hoping.

I thought Jon put the 90 day hold on the divorce because he was nervous about his custody. I figured he wanted to clean up his image thus the TLC plug being pulled.

He is making everything worse. Can you imagine what this judge is thinking after the last few days.

That was so sad and disgusting. I blame Jon for that fiasco. He made such a big deal about today and their birthday etc...of course the papparazi was going to be there.

I'm not sure that Kate going on the Today Show helped the situation.

Could these 2 (and TLC) not have waited until after the girls' birthday to make such a public spectacle? IMO the birthday issue didn't help, but I think the paparazzi were always going to be there.

What gets me is to see all those adult men surrounding those young girls. They looked absolutely ridiculous filming two little girls at a bus stop. Disgusting.

that's bothered me for a long time. the TLC crew, the paparazzi photographers and even the fans that take the children's pictures ...

I don't understand why on earth Jon and Kate Gosselin believe this is a healthy environment for the children. To be so obsessed with fame and money is something I cannot even imagine.

Jon, Jon, Jon. He is such an idiot. That video is ridiculous. What kind of father just stands there while a strange camera man films his 2 little girls in the backseat?? What is wrong with them? How is this a good thing for the kids? How will this give them a better life? How will all these 'life experiences' benefit them when their privacy is so invaded? Augh, they both make me ill. It's almost as if they took out their brains when the signed their TLC contract. Speaking of TLC, if they had any heart or conscience, they would announce that J&K+8 (Kate+8) is done. Period. It was just so disturbing to see that flock of paps form a semi-circle around Cara & Mady and even more disturbing that Jon let them. If that were my DH, he would've been punching cameras left and right to move them out of the way.

I can't watch the video of the pick up, but when you say they act like they don't like their father, it makes me so sad. I worry that Kate may poison them against him. And not that he doesn't deserve some of that, but still, he is their dad. I wouldn't wish their lives on anybody.

My DD8 only sees her dad once a week or so..... last week he came & the first thing she said was "Ewww you smell bad" It was totally "her". Completely normal for my DD - we both chuckled & moved on. She's alot like Mady.

Does an arbitraitor have the power to hold him in contempt (If that's what they decide) or does that then have to go back to a Judge? I'm not sure how that works, we never used an arbitraitor.

Not as many, but she wasn't telling them to go away or punching them out either. There were a few questions about when she was going to start working at McDonalds.

I think it's really easy to just blame Jon for the bus-stop pick-up fiasco, but IMO with the stuff that's been happening the past week, the paparazzi would have been there under any circumstances -- if the only thing that had happened was that TLC wrote Jon out of the show, they'd be there.

Having said that, I truly believe there has to be much more protection for children under any circumstances, whether it's kids on a reality show, a movie, or someone whose famous parent passed away. They're not old enough to sign a contract, have little control over where they go and how much privacy they have, and need to be protected much more than adults. Yes, I believe in free speech, but I also believe in protecting childrens' privacy and IMO unless the pictures are going to make them safer or protect them in some way, they should not be allowed without the express written consent of their parent or guardian.

Gosselin versus Gosselin will be heading back to court next Tuesday.

The feuding reality couple will head back to Montgomery County Court in Pennsylvania as Kate Gosselin seeks to get $230,000 that her estranged husband Jon reportedly took from their account without her knowledge.

The pair’s initial showdown was cancelled earlier this week after the judge in the case had to be excused after his wife died of cancer.

Jon’s lawyer has contested Kate’s claims alleging that she is the one that has taken monies from the couple’s account.

During his recent media blitz in Los Angeles, Jon claimed that his soon-to-be ex-wife was in charge of finances and he wants to know what happened to the $2.2 million the couple entered from TLC since filming began on Jon And Kate Plus 8.

Kate countered by claiming that her husband was financially irresponsible by wasting money on flashy cars and four-wheelers while she could no longer pay her own bills.

It’s understood that the couple’s bank records will be produced in court so that the arbitrator can get to the bottom of the financial fall-out.

This says the bank records have not been produced yet & the judge is having the arbitrator go over them on tuesday
