I think Jon didn't read the entire email to everyone because obviously today was his custody day and he didn't want to change it for the weekend. If the shoe was on the other foot, she wouldn't budge either. Neither of them care about anyone but themselves. Rather than subject the girls to the paparrazzi this morning, why didn't Kate just drive them right to school or have the nanny take them.

As long as J & K keep themselves in the spotlight, the children are going to suffer. I have read also that viewers are being less sympathetic with both of them and their financial problems because of everything being revealed.

Watching the clip of Kate on Jay Leno----looks like acting is out of the question for an upcoming career. I don't know who's idea it was for her to do the skit, but with all that is going on with her husband and family, she should stay out of the limelight and tell Jon to do the same.

They're saying different things about this -- Jon said if it had not been for the birthday he would have had the kids from Thurs til Mon and that Kate not only tried to cut his time on their birthday back, but also cut out most of his custody time on the weekend. But then again, wasn't Kate originally going to be filming in NY this weekend?

Their custody times have never seemed like they kept to any type of schedule. And they both seem completely unaware of when the other is not using their custody times.

I still think he would have read the rest of the email in that interview if he had had the chance (really looked like he was going to continue reading but they kept asking him questions) -- he might have kept talking for hours if his drive hadn't arrived to pick him up -- since he did read the entire email in the ET interview.

Ok I just tried to listen to the video and Jon said something towards the end (about 6:30) about "her friend, the girl with her hand on the kid's arm in the picture" (or something like that) calling him (Jon) and telling him that Kate was in tears.... hmm.

ETA: About the 7:00 mark, the one guy asks what happened to the one pap (not sure how he was referred to - I couldn't understand) and Jon said he and Tom hung out and were "boys"....that's sad that the kids friends/family are the crew (film guys/professional paps) and his friends are the paps too....

Jon also mentioned in his recent interviews that if Kate talks bad about him, Mady calls him right away. When the divorce is final, I could see Mady & Cara spending time with him in NY to get away from the tups and their mother. I bet Jon would even take them to see the Statue of Liberty!

That's what I was thinking. I almost wonder if the paps are thinking this is kind of "easy money" now and aren't putting too much work into things. Like we said on the last thread, someone here found the facebook page with tons of pictures of the family on there - how come those weren't dished out in some magazine long before this? I wonder if the paps are just now waiting for the stuff to fall into their laps instead of spending the time to research and investigate - it's like they know things change so quickly it's not such a big deal if they make a mistake like that.

That may be true but I don't think that they would have referred to her as a Pennsylvania friend of Kate's.

BTW, it looks like her facebook account may now be gone. I know that I looked at it yesterday but can't seem to find it today.

I think the paps just found her in PA and assumed...like that's never happened before!

I couldn't find it this morning either. I was hoping to see if there was something to confirm she was still there....

I was referring to the part I'd bolded about the friend from PA and wondering if it was Jamie - the facebook friend. I'm sorry if I didn't make that more clear. I can't keep up with the schedule or lack thereof any more!

MAKmom: Ok, I did not make it through the whole 8 minute street interview of Jon yesterday, and it was posted that he said TLC pays for the apt (he was apparently standing outside of his building).

He did mention in your blurb that if it was a hotel, no one would be flipping the bill, so does he pay for it or not?

Z on TV just reported that ratings continue to drop. They have lost 4 out of every 5 viewers. He said basically the show is dead in the water and the new Kate plus 8 is on life support.

Here is a link from last night. Jon says he is done with reality shows. He doesn't really say much for a change, but I'm wondering where he is??? He has a suitcase with him and it looks like he's going into a hotel lobby. It might be his apartment building I guess, but it looks more like a hotel. Why the suitcase though, didn't he get home yesterday? Weird. Of course he has his creepy lawyer in tow. Does that guy not have any other clients?

That explains it! I knew she had to be connected somehow since we never saw her in old episodes.

I'm glad she closed her page too. I don't understand why people put personal pictures of weddings, children, etc....for whomever to see. Why would anyone want their family plastered all over the internet???? Reminds me of some of these people with terrible voices trying to sing on Youtube.

Something I really like is that Kate never engages with the paps that follow her. She just ignores them, I wish Jon would do the same.

I actually thought the clip was funny and she did pretty good with it. But I agree they both need to step out of the spotlight, at least for awhile.

All I have to do is give my kids a look and they know they better make some changes fast! The spanking and kicking the lego building didn't bother me as much as: the "barely talks to the kids" and the "annoyed because of the phone thing do". They both spend far too much time on the phone.
