I'm glad she closed her page too. I don't understand why people put personal pictures of weddings, children, etc....for whomever to see. Why would anyone want their family plastered all over the internet???? Reminds me of some of these people with terrible voices trying to sing on Youtube.

I agree, Mousey. I find that odd as well, especially when it comes to children. I would hate to think my kids pics are plastered all over the internet.

I have to say that on occassion I've made my children cry by looking at them. This morning was a perfect example. DS5 was up about an hour past his bed time last night and was VERY tired. Everything this morning was a fight - getting dressed, picking out socks to wear, eating breakfast, putting shoes on, zipping his bag. Finally I just turned around and looked at him and he started crying. I felt like Mom of the Year at the bus stop with a crying kid telling everyone I wouldn't help him put his shoes on but honestly I just looked at him and he started crying so that I can relate to if that's how it was meant.

As for the legos, DS5 and 2 are just getting into the legos and I've bumped the little board thing they build them on and the stuff falls over into a million pieces. No way would I kick it - that just spreads the mess from one end of the room to another and I've got a bigger mess to clean up!

I think Jon said in his latest interview (outside in NYC) that the nanny has to be there at 5:30 to get the kids ready and "whoever's around" helps the nanny out. I took that as it's the nanny's job to get them around and if mom or dad are there they'll help out but it's not J&K getting the kids around and ready for school - which is sad IMHO.

It looks like this is the bestest friend whose husband (or ex, not sure) is the guy who works for the Cabinet company that sponsored the free kitchen.

Oh that might make sense! What was the cabinet company? I hope it was a national one. It would make NO sense for a MI based company to do a remodel in PA!

It seems that a lot of fans were affected by Jon and Kate's divorce.
It's really difficult for celebrities to keep their private life. It's normal for the two to say malicious things against each other, but whatever Jon or Kate is telling, I believe that there are reasons behind it. It could be Jon or Kate's fault, but whoever is guilty, let's just pray that they seek forgiveness and move on without hate or resentment.

Good Morning J&K DISer's....wow, already page 4!!!

I am jumping in here to say I saw Kate last night on Leno...had no clue she was going to be on there...I laughed soooo hard!!! She was awesome!!! It was such a funny skit!!! Esp the part where she tells the PAP to go to his room..."how can I do that, this is a parking lot"..."then go to your car, no radio and no cell phone"...and as the skit is ending the PAP is still sitting in his car just sitting there like he was pondering his wrong doing!!!! The whole skit was hysterical!!!!

So good to see something J&K that you could really laugh at!!!

Thumbs up to JAY for that skit and the one with Lance Bass!!!

I thought Jon's custody days were Thurs-Sun? So why would Kate offer more time if it is his time to begin with? More confusion!

On ET last night...when Mary Hart said Jon had coined his own term for the papparazi ... "getting papped." (that Jon is oh so clever! ) he said he regretted the trip to France, but that it was a total set up, what did he mean? What was a set up, the trip? And who does he think set him up? Who knows how their custody works. Jon was in California from last Thursday when he was on LKL until this Tuesday, so that is at least 6 days, assuming he didn't get to LA until the day of LKL. And I remember reading that Jon asked Kate if she could come home early Sunday to start her custody early and she said she couldn't. So wouldn't last weekend have been Jon's custody time? With him being gone 6 days, he had to have missed some of his custody time. If his custody was last weekend when he was in LA, who was with the kids? I just don't get the whole set up.

Ok...get ready for the rant:

One of the most important things for children is consistency, especially when it comes to their parents -- they need to know when they will have time with their parents, AND that they are important enough to be kept in the loop about when they will see them. Yes, lots of people do shift work, and their schedules change from week to week. My SIL is a cop -- 4 days, 4 nights, 4 off -- but after a month even her youngest had figured that out. These parents run around the country saying they are doing everything for their children, showing up for interviews on time, but the one appointment they are missing is with their kids. Even if, from time to time, they had to make other arrangements and give some of their custody days to the other parent, the children would still get to be with a parent.

Until they can show me that they are actually THERE for their kids, sticking to some semblance of a schedule, they need to shut up. Can you imagine the stress that children would be under if their school days changed from week to week? This is no different.

The only consistency these kids have in their lives is the shift change of the nannies (and according to Jon, that is not even certain). They are both guilty of this, equally.

I have all my family photos on webshots for anyone to see if they want. It's not a big deal to me who sees mine or my kids faces.

Although, once you've been on this thread for a while you'll understand why anybody would wonder (actually, hope) that a new poster is actually Kate or Jon finally showing up to get some good advice.

So she basically told him that he could see the girls for 2 hours on their birthday which is Jon's custody day, then take away his custody for the weekend except for 2 hours? I would be upset too.

I thought Kate had the kids Monday-1/2 Thursday and Jon had 1/2 Thursday through Sunday. I think that was the original agreement. Who knows what it is now. Why they can't work it around their work schedules like any other divorced couple would do?

I'm sure there are quite a few people willing to rat both of them out. They don't sound like they have many friends. Their house has a revolving door of all the people that go in and out.
