I think they'll be nice to her. I stopped watching a year ago because I couldn't stand Elisabeth anymore and Joy's jokes were getting stale, IMO. I'm sure they will throw her softballs and pick topics that are relevant to her.
Didn't she say before she wants her own talk show? Maybe this is a "trial run" of sorts.

) that I don't know that she was "candid" although I didn't watch either - just read today. She opened up a bit more but if TLC's contract is so tight that Jon can't do interviews and stuff, maybe they're really not able to say anymore. Kate did mention something about the contract last night and following those rules or something? I'm sure TLC has a darned good contract and neither J or K have the money to fight them unless TLC does something totally crazy to put someone in danger or something like that I would think.
The Radar article was the first I heard about Jon going out so maybe I missed previous articles or misheard Kate. My initial impression after reading the article was that Kate was "taking the blame" for the incident by saying she was having a bad day and just wanted to see the kids. Like she didn't want to bring up Jon going out when it was his turn with the kids. If that article is true and their custody arrangement is as peaceful as they claim, why can't the other parent have first crack to be with the kids if the other needs to be gone for a few hours? Seems silly to have a babysitter around when a parent is available and willing.
 That is hilarious!
 And Kate.
