Where are y'all seeing this list? All I see is a folder in Kate's hand.

Also, Jon looks REALLY BAD in those most recent pictures. Only a gold chain around his neck and some chest hair showing could make him look worse!

Has Jon developed a drinking problem? In a lot of recent photos, he looks glossy eyed & drunk, a lot like he did on his 30th b-day when he had too much to drink at dinner.

They were eluding to a drug problem on Talk Soup. I think this is what is going on & has caused most the problems.

I agree that Kate Major is a bit out there, but I can totally see Jon telling her to park at the neighbors so he could pick her up on his 4 wheeler. That just soooooooooooooooooo sounds like him, thinking he is so clever. I don't believe all of her story, but there are parts that ring true.

I agree, she seems odd. I also agree that her story is at the very least partially true.

Really? I never watch Talk Soup, I can't stand the host. What did he say about a drug problem, it is the first time I've heard that one. Drinking, yes, but drugs?

If the "insider/source" is correct, this article says that Kate had to account to the money per Jon's attorney's request which would explain the pictures from last night...

So...my assumption is that Kate was ticked about that (assuming it's true and not just a statement made to take the focus off the fact that the photogs got the details of the fax) and she decided she had to make a show for them. But like a pp said, it backfired.

But the real point is there was no reason for her to be doing that in public, otherwise every time they signed a contract for a speaking engagement, book deal or freebie she'd have done the same thing. Of course, if that info had been requested (and should have been IMO) it would usually have been sent by her lawyer's office. What she was doing makes no sense unless you look at it in the context of how nasty this divorce is becoming: both sides playing to the paparazzi, doing interviews and making a private matter very public, tipping off the tabloids about details of the divorce by having "sources" relay information (which tells me the battle lines have been drawn and people close to them have chosen sides)

Seeing what has happened so far, I think it will get a lot worse before it gets better.

ITA. It's either that or she never really resigned from the tabloid -- can you imagine how much she's increased their sales? There are a lot of people making a living off these kids right now, not just their parents

Talk Soup is satire and parody. It's not a place to get accurate info. It is very funny though!

I doubt Jon is on drugs. Anyway, an intervention would make a great show, so TLC would probably try to get that on film or at the very least Kate would spill that in one of her rag interviews.

I agree that Kate Major isn't all there, but she is sure making trouble for Jon with her comments. Her interview on the Early Show just made him look like a total jerk--which he is.
He sounds like he is not all there also. He must of really wanted out of the family life to make a turnaround like this.
I think his goal is to get Jon & Kate plus 8 cancelled so that he is out of it and also Kate (who really wants it) will be out too! For the kids, I hope its a breath of normal life as they are going to need that dealing with all this crap. I don't even watch the show anymore. Too boring for me!

I feel like the show now doesn't even focus on the kids. It focuses on Kate saying how she is going to do it all by herself. I haven't watched since the 1st episode of the new season and I honestly don't think I will watch anymore. Why give them anymore attention? those poor kids need to deal with this in private. I am sure Kara and Mady can read and also hear what Mommy and Daddy say about each other to the entire world, seriously, why air out your dirty laundry to the world?

I don't think Jon is into "heavy" drugs but I don't doubt that he has/is smoking pot. Weren't there photo's of him smoking what appeared to be a "hand rolled" cigarette/joint?

I went grocery shopping yesterday and when I was checking out I couldn't believe all the tabloids with pictures of either Jon or Kate or both on the cover with or without the kids saying so much about this family--and it was nothing good. TLC can't be shocked that ratings are dropping so steadily with all this garbage out there. I predict that when the divorce is final--so is the show. There is no way they can survive all this negative press.

How do you figure it didn't focus on the kids..especially if you haven't watched it? If you haven't watched it since the first show, you really wouldn't see how nice the shows have been. Last week's show was wonderful. Kate took the boys to a ship and they showed them touring it. The boy really seemed to like it and have fun. Another show was all about Kate and the kids camping in the yard. It was also a fun show.

The only thing that has changed about the ratings, is they are more in line with where they were before the big closing last year and the first show of this year when they went way up compared to the norm. The ratings are still pretty darn good for a cable show.

Although there are different levels of abuse...I completely agree with what you are saying.

Even if you dont think it's right for them to keep up with the show...I dont believe they abuse their children.

Yes, there are many different types of abuse.

I really wondered about this when I heard something said about she put the tups back into their cribs if they got out for a couple extra hours ? Not sure if that is true or not. Made me cringe. Also heard someting that Jon has tons of documentation he can pull out on Kate's parenting. Tups hide when she is screaming on a tangent ? All the time that kids spend filming or preparing to film is too much "work" . They are missing a lot of normal time that kids have to have normal fun experiences in the home. The last house was a true film set / all of it. Kate's made comments such as my kids know how to behave in front of a camera / w/ mikes. That isn' t normal at all. Why do the kids have to "behave" and not just be kids if they are in front of a camera ? I mean isn't that working ? If this camera was just filming them candidly and no action was required of them, as Kate says, then why do the tups know how to "behave " ? It's a lot more work than it looks like , is my guess. The stress of it has to be high and then the tups have to deal with having parents go at it / cause they are over stressed from the filming . I understand why they did what they did to make money. I do not fault them. They made money the only way they knew how. I do think they have made enough that they can take some risks and try some other ways to make money that doesn't involve the kids. The kids deserve a more normal / happy life.

Reality-show trainwreck Jon Gosselin, of "Jon & Kate Plus 8," bailed on a paid nightclub appearance at Foxwoods over the weekend. The tabloid regular had a deal with the MGM Grand club Shrine to show up on Saturday night, but Gosselin cancelled at the last minute, saying through his agent that he didn't want a paid nightclub visit to damage what's left of his image. As if he reputation could get any worse.

Gosselin apparently told the nightclub that his surprise appearance at Shrine and the Foxwoods nightclub Scorpion Bar earlier in the week should satisfy his contractual obligation. Staffers, who seem to have little loyalty to Gosselin after he skipped Saturday's gig, tell us that when he showed up unexpectedly at the clubs last Tuesday, confusing employees who expected him days later, Gosselin ended the night by taking a few women up to his hotel room. One staffer, a server at Shrine who says she was invited up to the room, claims that Gosselin made out with one of the women and then asked that any photos taken of the evening's events not be posted on Facebook. Classy, yes? No word on what Gosselin was supposed to be paid for the Saturday appearance or if he'll get his money.

"It's really not a sustainable arrangement for parents who are trying to find a physical and a financial separation from each other and an emotional disentanglement," she says.

Bird-nesting can work well as an interim measure, she adds, since it gives children time to adjust while the couple work on their separation agreement.

The 1st show was her sob story and how they are getting new cabinets (No doubt in my mind those were free too) and those cabinets were "for the kids" now my 4 year old could really care what kind/color/etc cabinet her cookies are in....like seriously.
And I saw the previews for the ship episode, Kate telling the kids to point the guns at the paparazzi....b/c that is even normal to have paparazzi's following you and it is even more normal to tell a child to point a gun at them.
this show should not continue, they need to focus in on their family problems and stop bashing each other in the media.
