I'm sure people will say it's only because she doesn't like fur shed in the house (who does?). Which shouldn't be a problem, if she's caging them a lot (which I haven't seen). There is very little Kate can do without there being a bad reason for it. I've never thought she didn't like the dogs. I've heard her say, oh what have we done, etc, but then I've said that about my many foster kittens, when one of them went potty where they shouldn't have.

Sorry- the woman should be able to brush her dogs while watching her children ride their bikes without everyone jumping on it as a photo op. The dogs shed and for someone as nasty neat as Kate- it's a big deal.

I agree. And if Kate truly found the dogs disgusting she would not be brushing them...photo op or not. The Gosselins prefer to hang out in the front yard, they always have. Even at the old house when the paps weren't part of their lives yet.

Why not brush the dogs while watching the kids play?

Me, too. Kate has good PR people who are checking blogs, discussion boards, etc You know the PR people have picked up on the dogs discussion, so why not set up a perfect picture for the paps to take?

I still find it hard to believe, that with everything going on, they are filming a new season! Enough! Those poor, poor kids.

If hardly anyone would tune in to watch it, wonder how many shows do you think it would last???

Well I am not sure who it is, (Joel, Aaden, Collin) BUT whoever it is....look how he is staring at his Mom as she brushes the pooch. I think the child is in SHOCK.

Yeah, and I made ugly faces about my kids when they were teenagers. Didn't mean I didn't love them.
Maybe the dog just needed a brushing, since it's hot outside.

Nope, nothing is good enough. Kate might as well continue the show, even once the contract is done, because if she ever does end it, there will be comments about her not caring enough about her children's future. Nothing she can say or do..darned if she does, darned if she doesn't.

Really, truly and seriously, does Jon not own any other clothes??? He wears that Ed Hardy stuff 24/7 and it is so gaudy. And did he really have to wear that to spend a day at the house? He makes me sick.

Ya, Hailey was probably 12 years old..........

The tups were 2 whens she got the tummy tuck, and they are now 5. Hailey is 22 now, so she was 19 then, right? That was about the time she got caught with pot.

OK TLC this is supposed to be a "reality show". In what reality does a divorcing couple with issues like this - him flying off to Europe with a 22 year old, holding hands, declaring he is dating her and "moving on" - come together so they can film another episode and it look normal? If I was her I wouldn't want to be in the same state with him let alone the same front yard. The tension must be massive and you know the kids can sense it.

Yes, those are Nike's - I saw them at Macy's last week. They are very cute.

If I was her I wouldn't want to be in the same state with him let alone the same front yard. The tension must be massive and you know the kids can sense it.

That is exactly what I was thinking. I really can't see how this show can continue, at least not the same format. Everyone that watches the show must know that Jon was off in France with his girlfriend this past week so how can they then start filming Jon and Kate together. It is crazy.

I have 4 cats who I love very much, but I say that almost every day about one of them! LOL One of the newest(we got 2 kittens in Sept) gave 2 of my cats a virus, which cost me $400 so far, and now she has a dental problem, which will probably cost me $600 when it's all said and done!(and I am a single mom and teacher) Another routinely has huge hairballs, usually on my clean clothes. That's just animals for you!

I can find no actual facts on if this is from her PR people. And of course as usual, we would not want to give Kate any of the credit for laying back and just being a good mom. No, doesn't matter what she does, it's never because she does love the kids and is doing what she thinks is best for them..which is keeping quiet right now. I'm not so sure I could, no matter what my PR people may say. But Kate can never win, even when it's Jon all over the mags. She's at fault even when she does nothing LOL.
I have no idea if it's PR or Kate..but I'll save the judging until I know for sure. Until I see the pictures of her out partying, I'll hold back on if it's PR and assume she is trying to do what is best for the situation.

I was a Kate fan in the beginning, but began to dislike the way she talked to Jon (and he to her in the past 2 seasons). But I do feel that she seems to be making an attempt to do what is right for her kids at this point by keeping quiet. No need to sling the mud. And I personally never questioned her love for the kids. I do believe that she loves them dearly. And I just don't think we'll ever see her out there partying. She doesn't seem the type. I think she is a smart woman and is trying to be there for her kids right now. I only hope that she has learned some valuable lessons from this experience. If she ever marries again, I hope different choices are made.

You know, I don't think either of them are 100% innocent in all this mess, but I think Kate is, appearing at least, to handle it fairly well. If I was in her shoes and Jon came strolling back up the driveway after his little vacation fling, I certainly wouldn't be sitting there with him. If she's doing it for the sake of the kids, good for her.

One of those JustJared pieces said that Kate said she doesn't want Hailey brought around the kids because of her record, etc. I hope that's true and I hope Jon honors that. Those kids do not need to see their father strutting around with this girl in front of them.
