I was dying laughing when it said Jon picks up his girlfriend from high school

The new episodes look very boring!! They also look very staged. Well what do you expect, TLC is grasping at straws to save this trainwreck!
Wonder who donated the new kitchen cupboards and remodel?? Wonder who donated the Vegas trip for Jon and his friends??

Of course the episodes are staged. They've been that way for two seasons now. I actually give kudos to Kate. You don't see her running around with a boy of the week and she seems to be spending more time with the kids. Jon is just a mess.

I just think she has better PR people. It does seem a little strange though to get a place right near the guy she was rumored to have an affair with. I think she is just better at hiding it. I do think she is more mature then Jon and she knows what is at stake if she does anything.

It really bothers me they are both getting condos & leaving the kids in the house like this. Part of me feels like it is a holding cell for the kids.

IMO the kids should be with their parents in the parents home. But I understand what they are doing at the same time.

I can't believe someone said they had 100K stashed in the house. What a way to put the family in danger.

I was shocked by that comment too. Why would you tell anyone that you had money stashed in the house, especially the media? Jon needs to think of his kids' safety. Look at the family with the 17 adopted kids in Florida. Their home was broken into for a safe and now what happens to all those kids without the parents there?

Marriott is really nice -- that's the one I'd choose. I did check the listings for this one -- DYK, you can get a floating platinum week resale for under $20K?

And the terrible thing about the stashed money is that it has already been said.

They cannot go back and say "there is no money stashed in the house". True or not, it was stated and if someone wants to try to break in or something, no amount of denying it will change it. As they say, "You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube."

I really think he did -- otherwise, he'd be extolling the virtues of golf, ranches and the music festivals (he just said he was buying a place to go skiing in the winter). And if they could do all of those summer things, I'd think Kate would have been in on the purchase too.

BTW, you can also buy other TS's in the Canyons for much less (under $10,000 for winter weeks, even with ski in/ski out) but Raintree and Westgate have a lot of issues right now -- some of the owners are posting ads stating "willing to consider all offers" Marriott is definitely a good place to own, and their MF's are less than those for their resorts in Orlando.

I think she's doing everything she can to keep herself in the manner to which she's become accustomed ... Kate doesn't want the gravy train to stop, IMO.

Her new place is near the headquarters of Discovery Communications. That may or may not have a thing to do with anything.

It's very early in this whole divorce process, too soon to tell how it's going to play out.

We looked into getting a Westgate..went up on one of those promotions and they were AWFUL. They're a ridiculous company. We already owned at Marriott and they were trying to tell us to have one week with them too and after the INSANITY they put us through, there was NO WAY. Ugh. (Including telling me I couldn't sit through the speal myself..even tho my husband was in the room with the kids who were asleep at night and told me to have him wake them up.)

I know Marriott was sold out for a while and was then doing the whole..you have to buy two weeks thing..so I'm guessing tons of people are buying resells. We bought high unfortunately.
