Well, if a policeman says that someone is fleecing churches, or whatever word he used, don't you think if that was a fact, there would be iminent arrests?
I don't think there will ever be any concrete proof to the allegations about what was happening at the churches. Too much time has passed, too much of the evidence is based on what people said or heard, as opposed to records keeping. I don't think we'll ever know the truth about those early speaking engagements (the love offerings, cash only for pictures, etc). No charges will be filed, IMO.
If a policeman says they are exploiting their children, and he knew that as fact, wouldn't you think he would call CPS? Etc to the other stuff he said.
Maybe he has called CPS. How would we know if he has or hasn't?
We don't know what the facts are, but he should if he is commenting on them. I'm not talking about what we are all saying (and I find it very interesting that we all see things so different), but a figure of authority (which is prob tougher for me to even say, since so many of our policeman are in jail. Many of the criminals had to be set loose, once the policeman used the evidence..ouch for our area) if it be a pastor or a policeman should keep their mouths shut (IMO) if they aren't giving facts. If it's just gossip, they are hurting people, and I don't feel that is right. Again, that is my opinion.
and the cop was giving his. LOL.
