I can't understand why Kate of all people (someone who I see is a lot like myself in being a planner and such) would have went to Disney without extra clothes. I go into every situation with a "diaper bag" (no more diapers thankfully - DS2 is working hard on the potty training!!!) stocked with extra clothes and such! I would have probably been frustrated with the ice cream as well but would have had a different situation. I personally would have found a bench or table or had the kids sit in the grass and eat it instead of wandering around aimlessly so I could put a big person every couple of kids to help them out and hopefully avoid that as much as possible. If I wouldn't have had extra clothes, I would have brought the disposable bibs from Pampers if I was that worried about their clothes for the day. (I know how everyone feels about bibs

) But that's just me. I think the funniest part was in the interview when she was asked if she over reacted and said no. I think in her explanation she was trying to say she knew it was going to be a bigger and bigger problem if she couldn't collect the ice cream (more kids getting messy and sticky) than the over reacting about saying her child was "ruined". JMHO - take it for what it's worth!
I don't know why Kate of all people thought that in giving the kids ice cream that someone, if not all of them, would wind up wearing it!
Disney + July+ 3 year old + ice cream =
I think we ALL know the answer to that one even before the famous Kate meltdown. I personally didn't like her chooce of words. "She's ruined!" Give me a break lady!
