Kate has some of the cutest beach cover ups! I've been looking for the white kind of lace looking one off and on for days! I wish I knew where to find one.

I've been looking for that one too. If you find it or one similar, please post back here.

I agree -- those are some cute shots.

I'm wondering about these pictures taken while Kate and the children are in NC. All the media outlets (including the tabloids) are showing the same ones. Are they coming from only one source and being released for distribution? Who would be in charge of that .. TLC? Are we seeing what they want us to see?
When we the unibomber struck (his family lives in our town) all the rag mags had the same pictures of the family, the house, his neighborhood. I assume they share them, unless they are exclusives. Aren't several of them owned by the same people?

Aren't several of them owned by the same people?
the magazines, TV shows, and websites? probably, but I don't know for sure.

I did see this site (which is a paparazzi site) listed under a lot of the pictures:
infphoto.com .. I'm wondering if they're a pool papazarri site.

Agreeed!

OT - I had to run back to Publix last night to use a few coupons. My total was 32 cents and I saved almost $21. I think that's my best trip ever! It would have been 7 cents if DH wouldn't have bought a newspaper! I saved just over $120 at Target today and only spent $115. Maybe Kate and I need to go shopping - I could share my secrets and she could share hers! :rolleyes1

Ummm how about share with us!!!

I just don't think those are the same breastages in these two pics. Who knows, undergarments (or lack of) can make a big difference.

No, those are definately new ones. That picture at the "vow renewel" (as in vows to TLC, rather than Jon that is) cracks me up. She looks just like when Carol Burnett would do the "Momma" skit, and when she get ticked off , that is the look she would give someone. That is the essence of Kate right there. She has the most evil, "gimme, I want it all my way " look on her face.

In your opinion they are definitely new ones......

You need to show all of us how you do this, I could use all the extra money at WDW!!:thumbsup2

Ummm how about share with us!!!

LOL Thanks guys! I'd gladly share with anyone! Honestly that Publix trip was buying South Beach granola bars that are $2.99 buy 1 get 1 free (making it $1.49/1.50 each). A friend sent me coupons for $1.50 off each box so it made them all free - just had to pay the penny tax on each of them. Target was the same - a TON of coupons. Best hint - PAY ATTENTION! I was looking at my receipt on the way out of Target (not smiling for the paps) and realized the cashier missed $11 of coupons....so I had to go back in and have them rescanned to get the difference back. Normally if they just miss one, I don't generally go back in - I figure 50 cents probably works out over the trips as far as what I save/spend in the long run, but $11 was so worth going back in for! Other than that, I only buy things when they're on sale and I have a coupon for it. Honestly, I bought six newspapers this morning because they had lots of coupons for products I would actually use quite a few of. I easily save my money from buying the bulk of papers in my trips so it's not a big expense in the "big picture" for me.

Back to J&K - I just watched the Disney episode with DH (he'd never seen it). I cry every time they get to Disney and get their ears! :grouphug: It's just too sweet!! I so wish they would have split that into two episodes - one traveling/packing and an hour at Disney - show more of their trip. Of course I'm partial to the Disney part! :goodvibes

I just watched the Disney episode too. I think I had seen bits and pieces in the past, but never really paid attention. And once again, when the "infamous" scenes came up (ice cream and dumbo ride) my reaction was "That's it???? Are you kidding me?"

Kate was actually really excited and Calm most of that episode and Jon was a you know what.

Your comment just made me feel a lot better. ;):goodvibes

does your stores allow internet coupons? my Kroger's doesn't .. and that frustrates me SO much!

Not a great shot...but for having 8 kids I think she looks pretty dang good. I don't think she has had any augmentation in the top...they don't look that big or round or whatever in that suit at all. (I'm a mammy tech and have seen way too many woman's chests...:rolleyes1)

agreed...I would have wore a bigger bottom....but that's just me...I know lot of people don't..

Remember she has a public image to keep up. It's easier to look good if you had a trainer, plastic surgeon, dietitian, chef, etc (I'm not saying KG in particular, but people that are under the public eye in general).

In regards to her breasts, plastic surgeons will create the drop, to mimic the natural process. Many women prefer that instead of the "high profile" look. I have seen many done in surgery, so it's not pure speculation, I have also seen my share of chests. To me she looks like she had some work done, but that's just my opinion.

I think she is doing a good job with her diet and exercise! Very disciplined, and that comes from someone that's not a fan! ;)

As someone who has had it done i agree. I am not stacked to my neck or a large round D cup like most people I know. There are ways to make it a lot more subtle and natural looking and that is the look I went for. I don't see anything wrong with that. And if I was going to be on TV which I NEVER would for any reason I would make damn sure I looked the best I could while keeping my own style which I appears kate has with the way she spikes her hair in the back.

I just saw part of the Jon and Kate twisted fate thing and I know this is old news to most of you but that deannas brother sure made it sound like a hell of a lot more then she was driving my car was going on. He almost seemed giddy about it, everyone around them is almost as sick as J and K.
Those poor kids. I am not going to predict what is going to happen because you just don't know but this whole thing can't be good for the kids even when things are going well and especially now.I remember all the predictions that brittney spears would end up dead by the end or last year and while things didn't work out perfectly for her and she had to give up her kids she did pull herself together. I am hoping J an K do too.

I can use internet coupons at the commissary, but not at Walmart...that makes me so mad...

they don't take internet coupons at Walmart? I don't shop there, so I have absolutely nothing to base an opinion on .. but that surprises me. I just figured my Kroger's was the only one. LOL

Sorry if this has already been posted - I can't keep up here! :goodvibes

Looks like now they are being investigated for animal cruelty:

Jon Gosselin, the tabloid target and star of "Jon and Kate Plus Eight" released a statement to the Humane Society of Berks County Friday, June 5, after it investigated cruelty complaints filed by several people after statements made by Gosselin were published in a June 4 People magazine article .

In the June 4 article, Gosselin is quoted as saying about his two German shepherd pups Shoka and Nala: "Those kids beat them up, climb on them, pull their tails, bite at them, drag them around and everything you can imagine not to do to an animal, they've done," he says. "But you know what: when they're on duty, they're on duty."

"We received about a dozen complaints," said Karel I. Minor, executive director of the Humane Society of Berks County in a phone interview June 5. "One even said, 'if you don't do something about this, we will.' "

Minor said the majority of the complaints were anonymous, so they could not determine where they came from, but one was from New Hampshire and one was from South Carolina.

"We have no credible reason to believe in way that there is cruelty going on," said Minor.

He said his organization confirmed Shoka and Nala have dog licenses registered to the Lower Heidelberg Township property where the Gosselins live. A humane officer with the HSBC was told by a family representative, whom Minor would not name, that the dogs were up-to-date on their vaccinations and they would forward proof.

Representatives of the HSBC did not actually see the dogs on the property, but Minor said he was satisfied with explanations he received.

Minor said Jon Gosselin released a statement to the HSBC via the family representative that states the following:

“I would like to clarify a recent statement I made regarding my family’s two German Shepherd puppies, Shoka and Nala. The statement – if taken literally and out of context – could be misinterpreted and I’d like to set the record straight. We understand the responsibilities of being good dog owners. Whenever my kids are with Shoka and Nala, everyone is carefully supervised to ensure that no one – dog or child – is injured. Shoka and Nala are loyal companions who we consider members of our family. We would never do anything to hurt them, and treat them with the respect and love that they deserve.”

Whew now even their pets are in a PR spin cycle:dogdance:

Nope...I tried to use them and was told that they couldn't accept them. I was not happy....

Good Morning!

Not sure if this is already here or not....haven't had time to re-read everything before having to actually work today! :goodvibes

Life's a Beach, Huh?
06/05/2009
Every time I have the privilege of visiting the beach -- any beach -- with my children, I am reminded of how amazing and entertaining the shore can be! On the first day, the sand was very amusing, and it took a bit to remind them that sand is absolutely washable...once we are done and return to the house. Collin had a particularly difficult time adjusting to the sand and its ability to enter each and every crease, fold and surface. He adapted by managing to fill buckets of water and dump them repeatedly over his head.... only to end up with a fresh collection of sand that formed a perfect mound on top of his head!!

The waters edge called to each of my children and as each wave lapped the surface it mesmerized them and drew them in. This year, having two 8-year-olds and six 5-year-olds, I fought my urge to call them in when the water hit their knees. Each time I got worried, I took a deep breath (something I have been doing A LOT lately!), and tried to remind myself of the purpose of this trip: to have fun with my kids...it's all about the kids!

The second day, we further discovered the world of sea shells. They were amazing at this beach and Mady proudly showcased her sand dollar that she found, even if it was in three pieces. It was coveted by the rest of us for sure! By the end of the second day, each child had their own collection, and even I and my babysitter had started our own collections. It was ex-shell-ent fun!

On the third day, a very large piece of monstrous driftwood had come ashore (we had tracked it's movement all the way across the ocean in front of us the night before and the boys SWORE it was a sea monster!!!) and the boys needed to cover it with wet sand and smooth it with their best cement worker skills! Thank goodness for the sea monster. He provided us with a days worth of fun!

By the fourth day, I had found some sand castle paraphernalia to renew our sand enjoyment and we created a lovely sand city together. I hadn’t built one in awhile so it took some trial and error in order to find the correct wet/dry sand combination that equaled success.

And then the fifth day -- my personal favorite -- began with a very ,very low tide which not only meant that shells were excessively abundant on the shore but also that sand crabs in mass armies were available for the harvesting! My babysitter (who has several brothers) began the digging, and with the three we found initially, we had to find quantities divisible by six in order to keep the troops happy. So this inadvertently began the 'sand crab lottery' whereby the kids each carried a bucket with some wet sand in it and followed me or my babysitter to become the next lucky recipient of a squirmy ocean outcast! I soon realized that while I was NOT at all interested in picking up the sand crabs, I could dive quickly on the telltale lumps in the sand and scoop up an entire handful of sand surrounding the crab and call the next eager child on the list to claim his/her new pet. Amazingly, I was hitting pay dirt (or pay sand as the case may be) with my beginner's luck, and the kids were following me closely, knowing that a find was never very far away.

All in all, each child ended the day with a bucket of 6-8 sand crabs each. What a crabby day! I am proud to be able to add 'professional sand crab locator' to my list of skills! And so, once again, the ocean proved its power to amuse, amaze and entertain as we were able to fill each of our days with new and exciting beach adventures.

Like nowhere else I know of, the beach is a place to refresh, regroup and renew my bond with my children and I am so thrilled to have had the opportunity to slow it down and see life through their eyes as the waves crashed all around us.

****Disclaimer: No sand crabs, children, camera crew, or even paparazzi were injured in the making of this blog (or "show" for that matter!) All hermit crabs were safely and peacefully returned to the ocean before lunch on the fifth day...and I wish I could say the same thing about the beyond obnoxious paparazzi, but no such luck! :(

I can't understand why Kate of all people (someone who I see is a lot like myself in being a planner and such) would have went to Disney without extra clothes. I go into every situation with a "diaper bag" (no more diapers thankfully - DS2 is working hard on the potty training!!!) stocked with extra clothes and such! I would have probably been frustrated with the ice cream as well but would have had a different situation. I personally would have found a bench or table or had the kids sit in the grass and eat it instead of wandering around aimlessly so I could put a big person every couple of kids to help them out and hopefully avoid that as much as possible. If I wouldn't have had extra clothes, I would have brought the disposable bibs from Pampers if I was that worried about their clothes for the day. (I know how everyone feels about bibs :headache: ) But that's just me. I think the funniest part was in the interview when she was asked if she over reacted and said no. I think in her explanation she was trying to say she knew it was going to be a bigger and bigger problem if she couldn't collect the ice cream (more kids getting messy and sticky) than the over reacting about saying her child was "ruined". JMHO - take it for what it's worth!

No my Kroger will not take internet coupons. Target and Walmart will although I don't shop at Walmart that much personally - only when I get a really good printable coupon! I've asked several times why I get Kroger coupons emailed to me if my store doesn't accept them. I try not to push the issue too far because they do let me use a LOT of coupons and I'm sure could make it harder on me trying to split up my orders to like 30 coupons per transaction or something like that. I agree it's totally frustrating though! Try your Target and see if they'll take internet coupons - if nothing else, Target has Target coupons you can print for their website and use for good deals or free stuff. For a while, the coupons were running with things they were marking down in the store so it helped to save even more (like the "price drop" or whatever they call it there).

Michelle - Are you a part of the coupon swap with Disney8704? I think we only have one military family we send to - I bet you could PM her your address (if you're ok with that) and we could split our expired coupons between the two families. I have a huge envelope to send out that I'm willing to split - send half to the person we've got and half to you to use on base if you want. :goodvibes It's the least we can do to say "thanks". :flower3:

Ok I actually read the blog I posted.....that's not how Kate talks at all so who's writing for her?? Does this mean the trip was only five days? Weren't there many more days of pictures than 5 days? (I know multiple pictures could be taken in one day) I'm also surprised she didn't mention the girls day/boys day or any time with the twins.... :confused3

I can't believe people would call this animal cruelty. I have said similar things about my kids & dog. I think he was trying to imply, more than anything, that the dogs are very tolerant and love to rough house with the kids - not that they actually abuse them. People are really looking for anything to find fault with this family.
