This kids love being on this show you can tell.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 is a TV show .. it is edited ... the children are happy in what Figure 8/TLC lets the audience see. We have no way of knowing what is on the cutting room floor .. there may be tantrums and children asking not to be filmed.

the children may like it, but it's also all they've ever known. and it's all we've (the audience) ever been allowed to see.

Jodi and Kevin are nothing but low life scum who are trying to cash in on Jon and Kate fame. They were okay with everything as long as they were in on the show. I don't see it that way at all. Kate kicked them out of their lives when they were going to be compensated for babysitting and watching the children. Do you think Kevin and Jodi just started helping out because of the show?

Kate has gotten rid of all the people in her life before the show. Don't you find that odd at all?

If they were doing it for the kids' sake, why bring up things about the alleged affairs, etc. (aka the things that will get the Kreiders more of their 15 minutes)? Keep the topic on the kids and the laws they think should be in effect.

Remember the sign Mady hung on the door that had a big frown face that said "No cameras!" I don't think she was very happy that day.

It seems like when Kate does something wrong it is the editing. But when someone points out that the kids aren't happy, then we just look at the tape. Can't have it both ways.

I just finished watching the reairing of last nights show, I missed it last night. I was struck with how much regret that kate had in regards to their relationship. I have been there myself in her shoes wishing I wasn't the way I was and hoping to make it through and make things better with someone that really doesn't seem t want to work things out with yuu. She just seemed sad to me about the whole mess and powerless.

Jon seems to have already have checked out of the whole thing. He just struck me as being all done and i was wondering if he was contracted to be on the shw this season and that is the only real reason he was there? He seemed bitter about the whole thing and like he wanted to get the point across that this was between him and kate and that he still intended to be a part of things with the kids no matter what. But he seemed disengaged even with the kids at the party. That could of had to do with being there with Kate which was clear to me je didn't want to be.

My marriage ultimately survived with mistakes made on both of our parts. I am hoping that theits can too.I just hope jon can realize that this might be worth working on not just for the kids but bor him and kate as well. He seems to hold all the cards in the deck right now and Kate just strikes me as efeated and remorseful, very different from what I have seen from the marathon over the weekend. I know she said she was angry but to me it seemed like jon was the angry one.

I agree. Kate to me seemed more vulnerable than we've ever seen her on this episode. Jon seemed cold and there only because he had to be. I hope they can work it out but I really don't know. I agree that Kate will be fine, she is strong. Jon, I think will flounder, he says he misses working but I don't see him wanting a full time job - I think he wants a job when it's convenient for him. I think much of his problem is not so much that Kate has a job but Kate is making more money than he is.

I don't agree. do you know that Jodi and Kevin didn't get paid for there help?? No not really I know many people that are close to there families.

They have nothing to gain by saying what they are but J&K have everything to lose if they tell the truth. Your forgetting too that they both said they have talked with J&K concerning the children but that J&K said it's their life, this is how they're going to provide for the kids.

Interesting that Kevin & Jodi are scum but J&K are fine even though they are exploiting their kids, showing private moments (ie: potty episodes and vomit) for the world to see, writing books to capitalize on the cuteness of their kids, fighting around the kids, broadcasting to the world that their marriage is in shambles which the kids will be able to watch on DVD and so on. Sorry but all of THAT is much more damaging and "scummy" than what Kevin and Jodi did trying to help. Serioulsy, we all have seen how strong-willed and controlling Kate can be, do you think that she would listen to Kevin & Jodi? My guess would be no. Maybe by doing it so publicly it will work.

Why not? Our babysitters (which we rarely use since our family does it for free ) are friends of ours. Our old cleaning lady became a really good friend, as well.

I guess I don't see it as exploiting the kids. I wouldn't listen to them either, They haven't seen Jon and Kate in over a year how do they know what's going on?? Jodi needs to butt out and let Kevin and Kate talk. I think Jodi is a liar she has been proven that over and over again. She lied about the gum thing who knows what else she has lied about.

Kate has never referred to Carla as a friend. She has said "our babysitter" but never friend. Unlike Beth who she called a family friend and the "Nanna"s.

And you know this how? If Jon and Kate were my friends, I would not want to be on the show or interviewed, etc. Doesn't mean they still wouldn't be my friends.
I have no idea who their friends are or who they hang with (well, I guess I do know who Jon hangs with). I only get to see what TLC wants me to see.

I also would believe that Jodi has some control over what her sister posts on her blog..that is, if Jodi and her sister are as close as her sister leads us to believe. Yet, Jodi doesn't think what is said on that board will come back to hurt the children? And yet Jodi is all about the children. As soon as I see Radar come out and say that although they generally pay their sources, but Kevin and Jodi refused payment, I'll feel a little but different about them. If I thought my sister's kids were being abused I would do my best to stay in their lives, not give a rag mag an interview and try to tear their mother down. Although I'm not sure how long I would be in their lives, sinceI would be in court proving my case and getting the kids out of the situation. I assume Jodi has lots of proof that the kids are being abused.

As for the kids saying they don't like the camera's..who knows how that conversation went. I imagine it could be like this "I heard you got in trouble for hitting your brother" "Yeah, I hate the camera's..they see everything."

Reportedly Kevin & Jodi were paid 20K for their story from Star Magazine. I would say that is "something to gain". I'm sure they are being paid by others for their story as well - that is how that industry works.

I stand by my opinion that ratting out a family member to the tabloids is a really awful thing to do. I cannot even imagine ever betraying my brother to that degree for my own financial gain. No matter what tension exists there you keep it in the family.

Everyone keeps speaking of Jon and Kate being rich off TLC. Do you realize how many shows like Jon and Kate there are on? There are many and most of those people aren't rich or well off everyone keep saying TLC pays them so well and does this and does that for them which I don't believe for on thing TLC isn't that wealthy of a channel. If they did it for Jon and Kate they would have do it for all of the families. Then they would be broke. I know for a fact that TLC doesn't pay the families that well I have read articles from the Duggar about what they get.
