from what I can tell .. the twins were at the beach earlier in the trip. There are pics posted from Sunday and the twins are with them. At some point in the last couple of days, they went home for school and are staying with Jon in Pa.

I drove past the house yesterday when I was out doing some shopping expecting paprazzi to be EVERYWHERE....there was nothing! I didn't pass a single car on the road they live on. So if he was home he is always saying that there are paparazzi waiting outside his house and all around! If I didn't know it was their house it would have looked like any other street.

Even if Kate has such a friend with the media frenzy and payouts, she could never trust that the confidance would not be broken for $$$$.

No a true friend is someone who doesn't care about media frenzy or payouts. They are loyal to the end. Other "celebrities" have close friends. Oprah has Gail! You never saw any real friend interaction with this family from the start. Even the neighbors said they were not friendly before the kids were even born. I'm not talking about paid help, I mean real friends!!!

In a way I can see not wanting to take used cribs. I remember being pregnant with my 1st, MIL had a crib @ her house & my niece threw up in it. I remember thinking, great, now my son will have to sleep in it. Yes, I realize that it gets cleaned. However,in Kate's situation with 6 premies maybe she wanted to be sure they were new & clean - make sense??

So if you couldn't afford cribs you would expect people to donate new ones (that match)?

We don't know why she didn't take them. I've never heard her say she refused them because they didn't match. For all we know, she may have already had them being donated and didn't need them. Someone else said they were slightly used. How the heck do we know? I know I'd rather my baby sleep in a cardboard box, with firm sides, than one of the older cribs that have had deaths because the rails are too far apart. Maybe people in the church went up to their attics and brought down what they thought were fine and were ok when they used them but they were the older ones. I have an almost new (used four times until my car with the built in seat came) car seat in my attic I bought for my grands 15 years ago. I would never give it away, since I don't know if it's considered safe. But by other's reasonin, Kate should have taken it. Hardly used! Like new.

From what I've read and when going to the police station car seat safety check's most car seats are good for no more than 6 years from the date they were manufactured. There are other guidelines too like if they've ever been in an accident so if you've been given a used car seat, be careful.

I'm sure J&K had to be very careful w/the premies and germs, and Kate is obsessive compulsive about cleaning so she probably wanted new cribs. IMO there is nothing wrong with wanting new, now how the offer (if true) was presented and turned down or given back or whatever is a different story and I'm not sure we know/have all the details.

Your car seat should be thrown out. It does not meet today's safety standards - child safety seats should not be used more than 6 years past their date of manufacture.

Not really. What difference would it make if it was new? And a crib can be cleaned and disinfected. I would assume that they would get new mattresses or at the least put the plastic mattress protectors on a used mattress if it was still in very good condtion.

If the cribs didn't meet safety standards, I could see refusing them; but to refuse only because they were used or didn't match is entitled to me, but entirely her choice.

it is 57 degrees .... WAY too cold to be in the pool today ... my kids are entertaining themselves nicely and I'm avoiding the laundry pile ... what can I say?

I think they have an agreement! How odd is that? He wasn't sneaking around, he just hangs out with her wherever. She is SO young, skinny and has weird teeth. Okay, that's not nice. Speaking of weird teeth, anybody notice Kate's in High School? That's weird. She was cute though.

Jon keeps saying he's not cheating on Kate, and they are wacky enough for that to just maybe be true.

Why is Kate so perplexed with having eight kids if her family growing up had six? What's the difference once you're outnumbered?

a lot of people said they wouldn't believe it if there weren't pictures or asked why there weren't pictures if there were eyewitness accounts of them being there .. so there you go, pictures.

I don't think Kate cares.. I think the "marriage" has been over for quite some time and it's to Kate's advantage for these photos to keep popping up all over the place.. It enhances her "victim" role..

I think you're probably right .. but I can't help but wonder, though .. is the spotlight eventually going to shift back to Kate & the bodyguard? With growing proof of Jon's relationship with someone else, I can't help but think that people (the general people, not the magazine or anyone specific) are going to start looking at Kate's relationship with the bodyguard more closely.
