The new issue of Us Weekly has shocking, exclusive pictures of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad leaving a club at 2 a.m. -- with a mystery woman and without his wedding band.

Jon Gosselin arrived at the club at 11:20 p.m. and by 2 a.m. "could barely walk" as he exited the less-public back entrance of Legends Lounge -- near the family's $1.3-million home in Wernersville, Pennsylvania -- on April 18, a fellow partier tells Us Weekly.

The dad of 8 -- kids are twins Madelyn and Cara, 8, and 5-year-old sextuplets, Aaden, Joel, Collin, Hannah, Leah and Alexis -- was overheard yelling, "Hey, babe! Babe! Give me my jacket!" before climbing into his Nissan Nismo. (She complied.) As cameras began snapping, he panicked, urging his female friend to "get in the car!" before speeding off hastily -- without even turning on the headlights.

Where was his wife Kate -- known for her insults and who famously once berated him for breathing on the show?

Nearly 2,000 miles away, promoting her book Eight Little Faces in Bellevue, Washington.

While TLC had no comment on the story or the couple's marital status, Jon sent an emailed statement to Us.

"I went to Legends to speak to the owner. A friend of mine wanted to check out my car, so I let her drive it to her car," he says. "Yes, I have female friends -- but that is all she is. I'm not going to end my friendships just because I'm on TV."

In February, the 32-year-old was spotted flirting with -- and even attempting to kiss -- coeds at Juniata College, multiple students confirm to Us Weekly. (He denied any wrongdoing.) He told one coed "he was getting divorced." In the May Ladies Home Journal, he says, "I always thought I would be, like, 54 years old and marry a 19-year-old or something."

I have no idea. There's really no way to spin it that will be believable in my book! What a fool, he has this beautiful family and he didn't even think twice about how it would impact them. Idiot.

If it walks and quacks like a duck, it's most likely a duck. I believe Jon was up to no good in February, and I believe he's up to no good now. Clearly, he's got issues. A cheater is a cheater is a cheater. This isn't like someone like Mel Gibson cheating on his wife -- while that's awful enough on it's own, Mel is a movie star. Jon Gosselin is not. The whole JK8 franchise is based on the lives of 2 parents (who, by their own admission, are going to be together forever) and their young family. It's time for the PR spin to stop. Jon & Kate need to get their acts together and decide what's what, and soon.

If it walks and quacks like a duck, it's most likely a duck. I believe Jon was up to no good in February, and I believe he's up to no good now. Clearly, he's got issues. A cheater is a cheater is a cheater. This isn't like someone like Mel Gibson cheating on his wife -- while that's awful enough on it's own, Mel is a movie star. Jon Gosselin is not. The whole JK8 franchise is based on the lives of 2 parents (who, by their own admission, are going to be together forever) and their young family. It's time for the PR spin to stop. Jon & Kate need to get their acts together and decide what's what, and soon.

Yep....you're right. As much as I enjoy the show, I'm thinking it's time to take a break and concentrate on their marriage.

I was wondering where you were! Definitely a crisis of some sort, maybe a I'm-sick-of-the-show-and-sick-of-my-life-and-don't-give-a-darn-about-anyone-but-myself-crisis. Sounds accurate!

I agree. I've tried to be non-judgmental of late when it comes to J&K and their show but this is really too much. I gave him the benefit of the doubt in February even though a nagging in my stomach told me it was more and now this!

Seriously, he does understand he has a show, right? And that people recognize him. It's not that hard either, let's see, they've been on the covers of magazines, are followed by a TLC film crew, have appeared on Oprah and do speaking engagements around the flippin' country! Can't imagine why anyone would know who he is! What a fool, you're totally right...if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck...Boy did they fool a lot of people then. I really hope they stop the money making machine and focus on what's really important. They have 8 beautiful reasons to! Cara, Mady, Hannah, Alexis, Leah, Aaden, Collin and Joel.

But Kate doesn't slap him malicously, most of them are love taps. At least the ones they show. I know she can come across as being harsh, but hosestly I have to say I can get like that with my DH. It' s usually when the kids are aggrevating me to death, and he says or does something stupid or just doesn't realize I'm already annoyed and gets the back lash of my annoyance with the kids. I guess I don't see it as all that horrible the way Kate can talk to him sometimes.

If a woman is slapped its spousal abuse, if a man its love taps!!!!!!!! What kind of message is she giving her children? That you can abuse your spouse as much as you want as long as he is male? He should take them away from her and find help as an abused spouse.

Do you really think she's abusing her spouse because she taps him? It's not done maliciously as a previous poster said.

I hardly think Jon is suffering physical abuse and needs the authorities! That's a bit ridiculous in my opinion and a real stretch. You're comparing apples and oranges...when a man hits a woman it's done in anger and is meant to harm. Kate isn't doing that. Geez, do you think she'd do that on camera too?!?! Don't you think that if the producer, camera man, audio guy, car driver, etc. thought it was abuse, they'd report it?

Kate's way out of line with this hit/tap/little smack stuff. It's rather nasty passive aggressive behavior at best. The kids don't need to learn the finer techniques of gently letting your spouse have it in a way that he can't really let her have it back equally.
Kate needs to learn to use her words, politely. She's modeling behavior for 8 children.

I'd have to say I agree. I am very non-judgmental about the show because I take it for what it is -- a show about a family with 8 kids.

Wow, what was Jon thinking? And I think my divorce is nasty, I can see theirs being nasty if it comes to that. I hope they can work things out, but its seems unlikely at this time. I see they are reporting he was not wearing his wedding ring, what do you guys think of that. I took mine off after I told my Ex but I definitely am not at bars at 2 am or 2 pm for that matter.

I read in a previous post, a DISer commented seeing a photo of one of the boys having a cast on, does anyone know about that?

At least this will keep me watching the blogs, etc to see what happens next.
