Today.....I am Kate....just ask my DH John

I will give you all the details later, but just let me tell you that he invited people over so I had to clean the house.....(well, he said, "it's just my dumb friends you don't really need to clean) uh yeah...I do...then this morning he tells me that his friend is bringing his wife so now I have to not only clean, but I have to be entertaining!! (I really don't like people at my house in "MY" space)

I have flipped out so many times today...so wish me luck on putting on the happy face in a 1/2 hour when people get here!!!


Just one detail.....DH went to Tractor Supply and DIDN'T USE THE COUPON I HAD!!


Oh yeah...one more detail, he let the cat outside after I hollered, "shut the door the cat is heading your way!!" GRR

You mean I'm not the only person who feels that way? (No reality show for me!!)

At least with that attitude, you don't have to worry about your tirades being broadcast on national TV and dissected on hate blogs

There's been a some inside joking and maybe notsowitty banter going on this week... but I don't think you'll find bigger Kate supporters than MichelleVW and TotalSnowWhite. There are others supporters on this thread, as well, and I apologize if I didn't name you. I know you're out there!

From the regular posters, I see thoughtful discussion and opposing opinions. I don't see the hatred... and only rarely do I see true judgment. Maybe I don't see it because I've been around here for so many months, I understand the tone of the postings from the regulars.

I haven't posted on this thread in a while because now that the show is in reruns and there isn't much going on with them, there seems to be little to talk about. I say wait until the season starts again before you run. I don't hate Kate, don't support everything she does either. I just enjoy watching the show. If you think this thread is bad you might want to visit that hate site. You'll see what hate is. You'll see how judgmental people can be.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Personally, I think this thread has done a fabulous job of showing both sides. I certainly wouldn't call it judgemental or hateful. You should read those crazy blogs out there where people actually say horrible hateful things about the Gosselin family. It's insane! I wouldn't classify this thread as anywhere near that.

I was totally Kate like this morning and still feel a little Kate like now because there are still people here in my house and I want them to go. But, some of them are my DH's friends who are working on a fence for us, so not only are they using one of our showers and my towels, they are spending the night...ew ew ew. Seriously I don't like it when people outside of my family are here. And when I say I am Kate, I mean I am demanding and controlling like Kate and I like when MY family or My friends are here, but when it's DH's friends or family I tend to get witchy. It's horrible, I know....but I can't help it...I don't like them here touching my stuff!

But...there were highlights to my day...DH has a friend who I like who brought his family (who I also like). Well, he has an autistic son who LOVES horses so we saddled up my DD16's horse and gave pony rides. He was in Heaven, it was so cute.

So...now I will torture you with pictures of this sweet little boy having the time of his life today. (The little girl on the horse is his sister who is 11 months older than he is.)

Keeping this OT, the little girl is probably the same age as the tups!

Sorry to hear you had a Kate-like day! I've had many a day like that too so don't feel bad! I'm the same way, I'd go above and beyond if it were my friends coming over but I feel a teeny, tiny, smidgeon (sp?) put out when it's my hubby's friends!

I don't know if they just rerun that episode like mad or what, but it always comes on at, like, midnight the night before we're going to Disney. Kate's whining always lulls me to sleep...

No, actually I make myself stay up and watch the whole thing because I love what she says at the end about always being ready for the end of a vacation except at Disney. Amen!!
