Wasn't she supposed to be in Detroit today or tomorrow for the Women's Show and "Tea with Kate"? I hope she didn't back out on those as people paid for those tickets (quite a bit if I remember right!). I do think it's best for her to stay at home for awhile though. Hopefully if she doesn't go everyone will get their money back very quickly!

She says she isn't (taken with a grain of salt). She says she granted an interview with People. It does not look like she posed for the pictures in the other magazines.
People is not known for paying unless it's an exclusive, but maybe they are paying her. I have no idea. People and the Star are not the same type of magazines, IMO. Your mileage may differ, and you may like the Star.
I have no idea what Jon has done. He's coming out smelling like roses, so he doesn't have to say anything, past what he supposedly said to Kate's brother and his wife, who seem to be his spokespeople now (why didn't he put a stop to it himself, if he felt like that instead of going to them, if he even did). In fact, he's better off keeping his mouth shut. For Kate, it apparently doesn't matter what she says, it's her fault, all of it. She obviously made a very poor choice in going out to sell her book (and a poor choice if she cancels and leaves people in the lurch) and leaving their children in the care of their dad. Because she did that, he's had an affair, the children are stuck with nanny after nanny, and never see their mom, all the money is being sucked up by Kate, and the home life is terrible, they never have any friends or family, etc etc. All her fault. An affair is nothing, compared to all she has done. Of course not a one of us knows if any of this is true, but if it is, it must be her fault.

I really find that odd considering Kate herself is speaking out to these type of magazines. How much do you think Kate was paid by People for a cover. anl exclusive interview admitting it is probably over with her and her husband. I am sure those pictures and statement came with a hefty price tag. That really is a pot calling a kettle. Jon on the other hand has not sold his side as far as I can tell. And I am not saying his hands are clean either. JMOP.

Cara and Mady are aware of what's going on. Kevin and Jodi said so in their Star Magazine interview. Sad isn't it?

Something just seems "off" there but I can't put my finger on it....I just feel terrible for those kids. It can't be fun at their house right now at all.

It almost looks like they made the video themselves and they are probably selling it to any media outlet. I'm betting we see the video's on Extra, Entertainment tonite, all the tabloid shows.

Did you read the article? They made it clear that the reason they're speaking at all is for the kids, to stop the show and minimize the damage they've already experienced. This is Kate's brother too, someone whom she was very close with but has now cut out of her life. He's talking just as much as Jodi. What should they have done? Gone to People Magazine? How could they do that when Kate already has gone there? Star Magazine got their story out there so people would see J&K for what they truly are. By doing so, they're hoping the show will be pulled so the kids can have a normal life, not with cameras documenting their moves 3-4 days a week. Also, we have no idea how many times Kevin and Jodi have tried to talk things out with Kate. I think they really feel that this is the best way to get her attention AND stop the exploitation of the kids so they can have some privacy. Anyhoo, that's my take on it.

Dang, I just finished reading the Atlanta Journal and it clearly quotes Kate as saying Michigan was the last stop and she was going home. She also said there are 4 magazines that she is on the cover of and only one is true and only believe what comes out of a real person's mouth. Kate you sort of lied there then saying you are leaving to go home.

They should have stayed out of the media...it doesn't help the situation at all.

Star magazine got the story out there for money...pure and simple...not for any concern for anything else.

I am a pretty down to earth person and I hate to see anybody be kicked when they are down. I just think there is quite a bit more than Jon cheated and Kate is bad mother. I have 3 sisters and if any of our husbands cheated on us trust me they would have 4 very angry women to deal with. And if one was rude to their husband , they are our family members too, we would let them know. If any of us questioned the other sister regarding their parenting they would listen and take it to heart. I do not think Kate is little miss. innocent, I am just not buying it. I think Kate listens to Kate and nobody is getting through to her, nobody.

Wednesday's appearance was the last stop on her travel schedule "for awhile," she said, adding that she planned to spend more time at home. Speaking engagements, along with the TLC show, have been a boon for the family. I have a question....isn't Kevin the "brother" Jon used to work for?? Hasn't Jon been talking about getting a job again? Do you think he's getting closer to Kevin and Jody so he could possibly get his old job back?? I hven't read/heard/seen anything like that but just happened to think about it. Curious to see what people think about that.

I'm also curious how the rest of the family (extended family) feels about Kevin and Jody going public with what they know (I'm sure they know more that they're just not sharing yet)...can't make this process any easier...
