I doubt the woman was there when the kids were around. Mady and Cara are certainly old enough to have told Kate if Jon had "guests" while she was away.

Well, this certainly explains some of Jon's behavior in the past season. Doesn't excuse it by any means, but definitely explains it.

Wow, I just finished reading the article and watching the video and I have to say I'm speechless!

If I miss Kate on Larry King Live, will someone on here give the scoop of what happened?!

And now we all thought we would have nothing to talk about until the new season started....we were so wrong!
Just checked my cable guide for tomorrow's Today Show and it lists "the "Jon and Kate Plus 8" gang" leading me to think the kids will be there along with J&K so there will be no discussion about their problems. If we may hear anything from them it would be in an interview on their own - someone mentioned Larry King - I would bet they are saving the reveal for that interview instead. Or have been told by TLC that any big announcements would go through that network.

Also, I was thinking too why haven't ANY of Kate and Jon's friends stepped forward to defend them? Where's Beth, Aunt Jodi, Beverly, Kate's brother, or Carla? The ONLY people that have come to Jon's defense is 2 obscure friends (we've never heard of but have apparently been in his life for 20 years), the bouncer from the bar and of course his 23 year old "friend"! Maybe the silence is more confirming than the stupid brother who ratted out his sister and Jon.

I second this request! I'm going to try and catch it, but in case I miss it, I want to know what happened, too! You know Larry King will ask the tough questions. I'll bet he makes Kate mad!!!!

Wow. I sure hope this isn't true. US magazine is not the most credible source. Yet at the same time, we have all been commenting for months about how distant Jon and Kate are with one another. When they sit on the couch for the interviews they seem to try and get as far away from each other as possible.

Guilty or not, his actions are inexcusable. He has certainly given Kate grounds for divorce if it is true and can you imagine the child support for 8 kids?

April 26 was a Sunday - shouldn't they have been at church??? And if the kids were at school, this 23 year old is a teacher right?? That means she should have been at school too then! I guess of course she could take a day off to spend with her boyfriend (if the allegations are true!).

I think the article's a little "off" - seriously the brother things he's helping by talking about being able to hear them having sex??? SOOOO not helping. But, if he's young and he's been trying to talk to her for three months, maybe he thought this was the only other way to get her attention (and make some money!). Hopefully Mommy and Daddy knew - if not, they'll probably die of a heart attack if they read the article.

The video's hard to see too - not the best quality. We have to totally trust the person who took the video since I didn't see anything to identify the house or proove it's Jon (granted I did watch it only once so maybe I missed something!). I would think that Jon would have parked in the driveway and been smart enough to leave while it was still dark out though wouldn't you think??? I mean parking your car in front of the house and potentially leaving it there all night to stroll out the next morning???? Something's not right there. At least at their house, he could have said she stayed in the apartment over the garage, house was being fumigated/construction done/something (not that I'm saying he needs to find another excuse if there is something going on!).

I certainly hope TLC makes a comment about this. I would hope they've spoken with J&K before making a comment to try and figure out what's really happening. They'll certainly have the ratings for the season premire but for all the wrong reasons! Are they still filming at this point??? Does anyone know any of the "topics" of this season's shows other than Emeril?? At what point can the show go into syndication (this would help to keep money coming in if someone picked it up correct??)?? I don't know a lot about this so maybe it's already syndicated because TLC airs the older shows so often?? J&K would be the poster children for the recession if they were to stop the show and have to start paying for everything in their lives. I don't know at this point if they'd be able to go get "real" jobs. Could you imagine going into the ER/hospital and having Kate as your nurse? People would just fake sick to get to see her - that would NOT be good. And Jon was an IT guy....but he doesn't have a degree or anything right so I'm thinking he couldn't make enough to support everyone. At that point what would they do to support their family??

I also wonder what other contractual obligations there are and what things would stop if the show stops - like the clothes and toys for the kids. If there's no show, they're not getting the advertising from the products being placed in the show so would they stop giving the products??

Jon Gosselin has been a hot topic lately because of several photos that have shown him in the company of women who were not his wife Kate Gosselin. In both cases, he had been partying in a bar. The first photo incident was explained away as just a couple of fans of the Gosselin family reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8.

The second photo incident was not as easily explained. Jon was photographed at 2:00 a.m. with Deanna Hummel, age 23, in a car that was attempting to make a fast getaway with the lights off.

Jon has gone public with the fact that he exercised poor judgment by hanging with a female acquaintance in the middle of the night after drinking at a local bar. He defends his right to have female friends but has come to realize, at least for now, that the lateness of the hour and the locale could and did fuel speculation about his intentions.

Hummel has decided to throw her own spin on the subject and recently told People magazine that the two have known each other for a few months, having met through mutual friends. They hang with a group of male and female acquaintances, partying at each others homes and occasionally out on the town. Something tells us that the house parties are not happening at the residence of Jon & Kate Gosselin. We’re just saying…

Deanna Hummel lives with her brother Jason Hummel. He told Us Weekly, in an exclusive interview that broke this morning, that his sister, a third grade teacher, has been carrying on an affair with Jon Gosselin for three months. Jon Gosselin IS a cheat, according to the brother of his alleged other woman.

The "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star and third grade teacher Deanna Hummel have been having an affair for months, her brother and roommate Jason tells Us Weekly.

"She's a nice girl, not a homewrecker," he says. "[Jon] is a bad liar. This isn't healthy for her. But she is refusing to help herself, so here I am trying to help her myself. I hope this clears the air."

Gosselin publicly apologized to his family last week for his "poor judgement" after late-night photographs captured the TV dad out alone - sans wedding band - with Hummel.

After spotting photographers, Gosselin was overheard yelling, "Hey, babe! Babe! Give me my jacket!" before climbing into his car, Us reported. He then urged Deanna to "get in the car!" before speeding off without turning on his vehicle's headlights.

"Like most people I have male and female friends and I'm not going to end my friendships just because I'm on TV," Gosselin said in a statement, but didn't deny he was having an affair.

Deanna later told People magazine that the twosome are "just friends."

"It's absurd that anyone would think otherwise," she added.

But her brother is calling her bluff.

According to Jason, married father of eight Gosselin is over at his house in Reading, Pa., fairly often to see Deanna.

The couple "pretty much stay locked away like two teenagers," he said. "It was weird. He's a grown man."

Adds Jason, "A lot of the time, it was pretty, um, gross listening to her, you know, um — how do I say this? The walls are thin. Let’s just say that. I mean, no one wants to hear his sister having sex, let alone with a married dude who's, like, almost twice her age and who has eight kids and a maybe-crazy wife."

This isn't the first time Gosselin has been accused of cheating on his wife, Kate.

The TV dad came under fire in February for allegedly flirting with - and attempting to kiss - several students at Huntington, Pa.'s Juniata College. The reluctant TV star reportedly told one undergrad that he was getting divorced.

Gosselin recently admitted it's not easy being on TV - and raising eight kids - to Ladies Home Journal.

"This struggle has definitely put some tension in our marriage," he said. "But I never cheated on Kate. Kate and I are together."

I'm not sure reality show people get royalties on syndication. I know I read that when a few seasons of the Real World was sold into syndication, the participants didn't see a dime. I'm not sure J&K were thinking about the long term when they signed those first contracts, let's hope they were, so who knows if they would get anything.

I'm sure all the freebies would stop when the show stopped. They give them for advertising and no show = no advertising. JMHO
