Kate just said that one of the kids called her the babysitter's name instead of hers. That is sad. She admits she's away alot and it's more like work.

My kids used to call me "Mrs. whoever" their current teacher was at the time....did it hurt my feelings? Nope...it was just that they were used to saying that all day long. Plus I know they occasionally called their teacher "mom" because it just slipped out.

Where are the kids while she is decorating?? With the sitter again...Come on most moms can decorate for a party and watch the kids....!!!!

Most mom's don't have 6 5 year olds either...and if I could have help I wouldn't turn it down....heck..I could use some help right now with this crazy puppy...just one of him and I can't keep up!!

Ok, I think my heart just broke....Alexis was talking to Jon and being very cute and then she hugged him tight and he looked about to cry and she said I love you Daddy. Jon asked her if she missed him and she said yes.

LOL our friends adopted a baby and she learned very quickly that no one cares how tired you are once you have kids. We're all tired!

IIRC, wasn't Kate gone for days up until the day she went to Party City?

The whole thing about doing everything herself .. that's what moms do, isn't it? LOL

There's Carla and her daughter so they do still have "old" friends so maybe a lot of what people are buzzing about is absolutely false.

Yikes.....Kate didn't even say anything to Jon at the party (that WE saw) until she told him to go clean out the other bouncy things......then it's weird that he asked one of the kids (sorry - can't keep them straight!) if she missed him and she said she didn't want him to leave but "daddy has to do work sometimes"

Can't they be truthful in a level the kids understand?
It almost hurts to see the dynamics of this family tonight.....It should have been worked out before airing to structure the day to the best the kids deserve, not the hostility underlining.
I would hate to be a guest at this party.
