I love it how she is saying, "I'm exhausted..." Hello, so is every other mother in America.....

Alright I'm busted. Sorry I have to admit I stopped watching every episode after the Disney ice cream incident.

I never leave my kids like that. I am a stay at home mom and would never be away from them like that. It took lots of fertlity treatments and years and years of waiting for my babies... I want to be with my kids not have someone else raise them for me.....

My father traveled a lot when I was a child and he was a wonderful father. He didn't have any sort of lesser role in raising me. Quantity of time is not the most important, quality is.

Kate was not away for their actual birthday.

My bad, that's why I said "I think." I believe I read here on this thread that she got home late the night before and was out tanning (while that doesn't take that long) on their actual birthday. I think it is May 10th, my DH's birthday and about once every 5 years it is on mothers day.

She has help, the same help that Jon has while she is away. Why is Kate acting like she has no help???? I do not feel sorry for her if that is what she is going for, nor do I feel sorry for Jon, but goodness, does she have to sigh and say "alone" so much. What about when she is gone???

Kate is complaining that she has to do the whole party herself and she is exhausted. Sorry, I'm not buying that, especially after her talking about how much help Jon has when HE has to watch the kids. She keeps saying she's alone taking care of the kids...so does she fire the help when she's home??

How is this party exhausting to her when at the actual party, she had helpers doing all the work? I don't get it. She's just delegating orders to everyone else to set up the party. So I guess putting together treat bags is soooo tiring, lol!

Single parenting is hard....I've seen my mom do it all by herself and she gets stressed too.

If the kids were so neglected by Kate, they don't show it. She has obligations.

She keeps bringing up the fact that "she is home alone taking care of the kids" and "preparing for this party". What about all the times that Jon is home alone while she is out doing a book tour?

The whole thing about doing everything herself .. that's what moms do, isn't it? LOL

I parent all day, every day. Kate is parenting when it's convenient in her work schedule. Pretty significant different, IMO.

There's Carla and her daughter so they do still have "old" friends so maybe a lot of what people are buzzing about is absolutely false.

OMG she is such a manipulator everyone knows she hasnt been home , but on the road doing interviews for the book tour, and she ragged on and on about HOW HARD IT IS BE ALONE< DOING EVERYTHING ALONE, ALONE HOME WITH NOOO HELP!!!! 30 freaking party boxes filled with bagged candy---so hard to do

must have been the one and only day she had been home in weeks

and she is so horribly abrupt to the little one, no so much the twins, but the other 6, she acts as if she is sick of them

Where are the kids while she is decorating?? With the sitter again...Come on most moms can decorate for a party and watch the kids....!!!!

IMO the party is only for the cameras. Kate says we should celebrate and have a huge party because they will only be 5 once. What about the twins? They never seem to have huge parties like the tups? Why?

WHAT!?! Most Mom's don't have 8 kids to watch and maybe she wanted it to be a "surprise" as to what it looked like. OH, no, BAD KATE, shame on you!
